Elegantly grand hotel which is centrally located opposite the Wasserturn, close to the main station and easy access to the centre of the city The accommodation was a large double room, with bath and shower facilities. Lock box, Internet, minibar and TV were also in the room. The buffet breakfast was excellent, nutritious and had a variety of different foods. Nice bar downstairs with a good selection of drinks.

A number of lights were not functioning in the room. Often some confusion with the staff over arrangements for breakfast (i.e. asked multiple times for room number). The furniture and decor could be considered a little bit dated but it is in keeping with the historic vibe of the hotel.

I had an absolutely delightful stay at Parkhotel 1901! From the moment I arrived, the hospitality and attention to detail were evident. The staff was warm, welcoming, and always ready to assist with any needs, ensuring a truly personalized experience. The rooms were immaculate, spacious, and tastefully decorated, perfectly blending modern amenities with classic charm. I especially appreciated the comfortable bed and the peaceful ambiance, which made for a restful stay. The on-site facilities were exceptional, and the dining options were a standout. The serene surroundings and beautifully maintained grounds added to the charm of the property. Overall, Parkhotel 1901 exceeded all expectations, making my stay unforgettable. Charm, proximity to the convention center. The staff are all friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much. Even the bartender can sometimes react a bit grumpy when too much is going on, but then he brings the excellent drinks with a smile and a joke. Love it.

Dusty smell in corridor and some parts of the room. As I’m allergic to dust, I could tell it was only a smell and not lack if cleaning. No allergic reaction. Before the booking we wanted to reserve parking and breakfast. One person responding told us it was not possible. On site we understood from the staff that it wasn’t a problem at all. The breakfast was actually only 10€ instead of the 18,5€ I read in reviews. So we would have booked breakfast every morning and a parking spot if they had allowed us to. I don’t understand why you would want to do that. Should be improved.

The breakfast was great. I liked that they had enough options that I could get as a vegetarian. The filter coffee pot was huge, and even though I usually don't like it, I loved it. The front desk staff was very nice and friendly, but I'd like to make a special mention to the young lady that received me at first, sadly I didn't catch her name, because she spoke a little Spanish and it's really nice to see it outside of my country!!!!

I wish the bed, although single bed, had two pillows. I realise I could have requested a second one, but I felt too lazy to 😂. When I get to my room, there weren't any towels there, I had to call reception for them.

I wrote the similar thing few days back, but I love its classical architectural style. So at the last day of the trip i came back to this hotel and I tried my luck to ask if the room with water tower view was available, they were able to find one for us and it was incredibly gorgeous! Thanks! I love it, I will definitely stay here whenever I visit Mannheim again. And at the last but not least, the staffs here are so helpful and pleasant when I asked something. Thank you so much!

The Parkhotel 1901 has a fantastic location as it sits just opposite the old city water tower. Additionally, it is not far from many restaurants, the train station, a bike rental stand and tramway stops. The breakfast was well stocked and had a surprising variety. The price for the breakfast was also reasonable. We enjoyed it quite a bit. The cleanliness of the hotel was top-notch. There were multiple elevators that serviced the different floors.

The room was rather warm during the night. We had to adjust the thermostat to be able to be comfortable. Maybe this was due to the unseasonably beautiful weather and warm temperatures. While it did not bother us, there were some people partying outside. Light sleepers might have a problem with it. The signage in the hotel was a bit lacking. We found the elevators by accident the first time. It was the same for the breakfast area.

Loved the incredible location, right in the heart of the city and next to the water fountain. Big room with high ceilings and the most comfortable bed made our stay so peaceful and relaxing. Our favourite was the exceptionally kind staff (especially the lady at breakfast): so attentive and warm, took great care of us!

The carpet floors (are a little old/dirty) as in any hotel with carpet floors. It’s an impressive building from another century which gives it its luxurious charm! Everything else in the hotel and our room was very clean and neat!

I chose this hotel because it was within walking distance of the Guitar Summit conference. The staff was friendly, and the room was clean. I recommend this hotel if you have business at the Congress Center Rosengarten Mannheim.

The window curtains in the living room and the shower curtain in the bathroom were both damaged. It's unacceptable for these things to be damaged given the price of staying in the hotel.

The room had a great view on the main square of Mannheim with a great balcony. The room was clean and the size of the bed and the facilities is very adequate. The moquette on the ground makes it feel a bit old-fashioned, but it is good overall.

The moquette makes it look a bit old-fashioned and the staff at the entrance wasn't really into English. In any case, kindness in answering made these small issues not a problem at all.

The view from the room was incredible. The room was very clean and had all the necessary utilities including a mini-fridge.

The room was cold in the beginning and it took a while for the heating in the room to start (about 2 hours).
