The hotel is only one block away from the train station, but there are a number of dining and sightseeing options nearby as well. The staff were competent and courteous and the property seems to have undergone an ownership change recently, which is for the better.

I think the hotel could have either included a light breakfast in the price, or charged less than €15. While waiting both to check in and check out, other customers seemed to have billing problems.

Free water offered each day, which was fantastic. Location was great, as the hotel was very close to the train station. Hotel staff was very helpful and professional. The room was very comfortable and spacious.

Being in such a central location does unfortunately mean it was quite noisy at times, mainly due to heavy traffic outside.

Room was cleaned every day and we were provided with bottled water in the small fridge. We had a good stay and could travel out - to do many interesting places and nearby town each day. We could meet other family members from around the world

our room faced the road - so after the soccer match there was much noise in the street. But otherwise the view across the square and statue was good.

Great location right by the central train station so you can get everywhere quickly. Wassersturm park is a short walk along with restaurants and the shopping streets. 24 hour reception to leave your room key with so you don't have to carry it around and worry about losing it. Bed was very comfortable. They have ac for the hotter season. I'd definitely stay again when I come back to Mannheim.

Couldn't arrange a late check out due to high demand. The thermostat for the ac is controlled by the front desk so if you like it cooler you need to let them know.

The hotel corresponds well to 3 stars. Large nice room, comfortable beds, two armchairs, large TV. The location is perfect, close to the railway and the city centre. Good breakfast and friendly staff.

There was nothing I disliked. What would have made the room even better would have been a cozy lamp. Do something about the toilet.

despite the room is clean, there was a bit smoke smell which is most likely due to old furniture and previous guests. it was not heavy smell but annoying

Very well placed! A few blocks from Wasserturm Platz and the Planken (the heart of City Center), and just about the street of the Hauptbahnhof of Mannheim!

Location, air conditioning, clean, comfortable, and the nice staff.

In the second night, we couldn’t sleep due very noisy neighbors which made the experience bad for us.

The elevator is small (one person only) and the breakfast is not worth the cost

The property was centrally located and a short walk to most major attractions. Jill at the front desk welcomed us warmly upon our arrival, made checkin easy, and even joked with us and our young daughter. The rooms were relatively spacious by European standards, clean, property had an elevator and AC, and breakfast had all the essentials and didn’t leave us wanting for more. We were able to park 2 blocks over in paid parking for about 16euros for close to 24hours.

During checkout there was some confusion where the property was asking for 5 additional euros. It seems it was the booking fee and something between the hotel and booking.com. The issue was exacerbated by the lady at the front desk who didn’t speak English. Luckily they phoned Jill and was sorted out by me forwarding an email to the hotel stating that I’ve paid for the property. Did not ruin my stay but did delay my checkout by about half an hour as we were heading to Cologne and already had a 3h+ drive ahead of us.
