1. The staff is friendly and helpful. 2. The hotel is clean overall, including the rooms and other areas. 3. The neighborhood is good and quiet, with several markets, cafes, and restaurants nearby. 4. The location is great, close to two U3/U6 stations, making it easy to reach both Marienplatz and Olympiapark. 5. The Oktoberfest grounds are accessible by metro, and if the weather is good, you can walk to the festival (40-45 minutes on foot). I walked to the festival almost every day. 6. The Englischer Garten is just 3 minutes away. If you enjoy jogging in the morning, the Englischer Garten is perfect. Also, the Munich Half Marathon starts in the Englischer Garten, so it’s easy to reach the starting point on foot, and the half marathon ends at Olympiapark, making it convenient to return by metro from the finish line. 7. The breakfast is OK.

1. There wasn’t anything major, but I feel like I should mention something negative :) There was no minibar in my room. 2. If you have small children or are traveling with a large family, the elevator is quite small. I usually take the stairs, even to the top floor (4th floor, I think).

We had a great stay in this hotel located in the heart of Schwabing — a lively and charming neighborhood full of restaurants, shops, and parks. The infrastructure is excellent, with easy access to public transport. We stayed with a dog and a small child — the hotel was very accommodating and even provided a parking permit, which was super helpful. Breakfast was tasty and varied — you can even ask for eggs made the way you like. Highly recommended for families and pet owners!

The staff were amazing during our entire stay … they really made our stay enjoyable. Also the location of the property was great … though it was close to lots of shops and restaurants it was tacked in a small neighborhood that was quiet.

Something that needs to be addressed right away is the showers. The shower head holder is far from where you are standing and unless you do some acrobatics or hold the shower head over you head you can get to water easily.

The breakfast was excellent. Great choice of seasonal fruit- first time I have ever had cherries on offer! The staff were truly exceptional - friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The room was a good size and very comfortable. The area was good near a tube, park and lots of local restaurants.

There was a small problem with the safe in my room which took longer than I hoped for to fix. All my money and cards were in it! However the staff tried their best and even offered to lend me money.

The hotel is tricky to find. Parking was listed as part of the booking, but it is on the street and a parking pass is put in the window of the car. We had to park 2 streets down to find a spot.

We had an amazing stay in this cozy place! First of all, the host was incredibly attentive and helpful. Our room was excellent, equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The convenience of nearby parking was another huge plus. We also really enjoyed the breakfast, it offered a great variety of delicious food. We definitely recommend this place!

everything. The location is exceptional, near the English garden and the vibrant atmosphere of the Leopoldstrasse with many interesting restaurants and bars and stores. The hotel is small and cozy, the rooms are old-style with real-wood desks and a window that can be opened (in comparison with most sterile big hotel chains), comfortable bed and bathroom. A welcome water bottle (glass bottle not plastic!!). Incredibly nice personnel that makes you feel like family. But the highlight was the breakfast: beautiful, good, and prepared with care. French products, no waste, high quality. I would go there anytime again if only for the breakfast.

there is no A/C in the rooms. I did not need it and was very happy to be able to keep the window open at night, but in hotter days (and with heat waves to come in the future) having at least a fan might be important. I was lucky that the weather was not very hot. The old-fashioned use of heavy keys ist nice but uncomfortable because I has to schlepp it around at my conference all day.

wonderful staff, very chill, and always happy to help. the location is fantastic, and the breakfast was charming and perfect. all in all a great hotel, and one I hope to return to when visiting munich again in the future.

No Aircon in the room, although despite being 35'c outside and on the 3rd floor it wasn't that hot in the room.

First of all. The room is a good size. It's also in top condition from the door lock to the bathroom. It's great too see that the desk hasn't been an afterthought, as it is in many hotels. It is in fact a gorgeously designed traditional writing desk. It's a very welcoming and friendly hotel. In a quiet side street in the middle of Schwabing. I have been to many hotels in Munich before. This is the first hotel I can wholeheartedly recommend I have finally found a hotel in Munich I want to come back to Breakfast is served in an attractive sand dedicated breakfast room. It's top quality: traditional, fresh rolls, several types of bread, fine selection of cheeses, Hans and marmalades and even smoked salmon with horseradish. Plus a lot of fresh fruit including blackberries. Coffee was made to order. Just perfect start of the day.

The Room could use repainting. The elevator could be refreshed. The clothing iron was defective.
