The staff was extremely helpful, nice and spoke English very well! The breakfast was an amazing well balanced selection. It was about a 20min walk to many of the major attractions. It was about a 7min walk to the entrance of the U-Bahn. It was a quiet part of Munich, off the major streets. Highly recommend this place!

The room was quite smaller than the picture could portray. Not a deal breaker for me and my husband though. The major thing for me was the fact that the pillows had nothing to them. My husband loved them but I did not.

Breakfast was a banquet of delights- new foods and new combinations-room- very very well designed- a small space but perfectly outfitted for comfort with a view of a jewel-box of a garden that was slowly becoming the Fall colors with leaves and flowers-The people were all - all - all - polite and helpful and patient- I am a disabled person and I felt very well supported there- and informed about the local destinations and how to navigate with my limitations. It was a wonderful experience to see this city in the Fall (and MISS the frenzies of Oktoberfest!) and appreciate how beautiful it is.

Another hotel with character, the kind of staff that sound like proper hosts and with a feeling of a well-run business with history. Located close to the museum cluster while the city centre is just a 20 minutes' walk away, if you don't want a bus. Quiet, clean and really comfortable, and with the proper Bavarian style breakfast you want to have. Oh, and the underground car park, the few spots they have, is a marvel of the 1960s' engineering, meaning that it is marginal for anything above a compact-size car and requires a competent driver alongside an obligatory hotel staff oversight to execute the procedure : )

Maybe only make sure you have your breakfast outside the morning rush-hour as the otherwise lovely area can be saturated. That's all.

Comfy beds & phenomenal breakfast spread. Rooms were a bit tight, but they did have a separate area outside the room with a large closet/cabinet for luggage/clothing storage. Bathroom was clean and I liked that it was also separate from the room. No AirCon in the room, but they did provide a fan and fridge in the room. long mirror in the room and a small table/chairs. Staff was exceptionally kind and helpful. We felt very welcome and taken care of. Would absolutely stay here again. About a 15 minute walk to the Underground and about 5 minute walk to the bus stop. Plenty of cafes/restaurants/bars nearby.

We had no complaints about our stay.

Hot breakfast consisted of scrambled eggs, over easy eggs, bacon, nuremburg sausages, and crepes. Cold breakfast consisted of several cereal/muesli options, deli meats, and fine assortment of baked goods. The room was a bit smaller than anticipated, but perhaps thats because I'm from the USA. The bathroom was clean and modern with an open concept shower that worked surprisingly well. The option on Booking.com said "King Bed"; however, it was just two twin beds put together. The location was excellent. About a 10 minute walk to Odeonsplatz and the metro station there. Several local food options around the hotel that are outside of the touristy area.

I think the breakfast should include weisswurst.

What a great hotel, everything about it is excellent. It is located 10 minutes walk from the old city and about 5 minutes to the U-Bahn subway station. The staff was so courteous, professional and friendly. Breakfast is a treat, lots of option, excellent coffee and again, very helpful staff. The room was quiet and comfortable, a bit on the small side, but is organized very efficiently. My wife and teenaged son shared a room and we didn't step on each other's toes. The bathroom looked almost new, and was very clean just like the room. Locating the hotel easy, due to the large neon sign above it. A minute walk from the hotel you can find restaurants, bars, bakeries and more. Highly recommended!!!

The location is quite close to the historic center, and to metro stations. The room and the bathroom were really clean when we arrived. We found some small complimentary candy in the room when we arrived, that was a plus. The staff was always helpful when requested. The breakfast has a good buffet, the tables are impeccably set.

For a triple room, our room was a bit too small, nothing about the beds and bathroom, but to manage the luggage of 3 adults required some juggling, due to small space.

Bedding was comfortable and not too hard, soft like I like. Pillows are nice, not too thin! Shower was awesome!

Tight room for 4 adult people with suitcases but we managed. Furniture is not new, lamps were old but worked, except 1 kept flickering because the plug needed replacing. Sparks were visible directly behind the bed where the pillow is and that was scary. Had to unplug it for safety. Shower was great but bathroom is very small and needs more deep shelving above toilet for personal items.

Nice location in a quiet street in great student & arts neighbourhood Maxvorstadt, full of great bars and restaurants, galleries and museums within easy walking distance from the hotel. Marienplatz - heart of Munich - is less than 20 min walk and the closest metro station is less than 10 min. If you have lot of luggage you will have to take (most expensive in the world?) taxi/Uber ride to and from the airport. Hotel itself is nice and a good value for money, with very hospitable staff. Single room is small, but comfortable enough, with new bathroom. Breakfast is excellent!

Narrow bed in single rooms - "speciality" of German and Austrian hotels...but still a nice sleep

Super friendly and welcoming staff. The atmosphere was cozy and rooms were clean and nice. Also the beds were just great. Nothing too fancy but everything worked perfectly and it really was a pleasure to stay here. Garden side room was quiet and you could even hear birds chirping if you opened the window. Location was superb as the old town was reachable by foot, and U-bahn and S-bahn stations were close. 100% would recommend!
