The hotel is superbly located, especially for the Christmas markets. The staff go out of their way to help and provide excellent service. The pool, spa and gym are excellent. The overall feel is one of the place being a real Berlin destination. Classy and excellent all in one.

The lobby bar, which is superbly located, is continuously overbooked and no space or tables are reserved for residents. They say that you cannot reserve a table but there are frequently tables with reserved signs on them. Once the management saw we were struggling to get a space they tried to intervene, but as the hotel seems to be a major destination for Munich residents, it was evident that the best that could happen was to be put on a waiting list. Eventually a space was found in the separate restaurant/bar area. The bathrobes in the room are fantastic, but when they cleaned the rm they changed the robes without checking the pockets, in which my wife’s watch had been put. One lost watch!

Very very friendly staff. Ultimate experience with the breakfast, great swimming pool and sauna and hamam, great cigar lounge, bar and lounge also excellent. Reception team is excellent and valet parking is also great.

Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten in Munich is an exceptional hotel (and I underscore here exceptional) centrally located in the heart of Munich with easy access to public transportation and a short walking distance to many sights and museums, including the Bavarian National Opera House. Also close by are several restaurants serving Bavarian and international cuisine. The Schwarzreiter Bar & Restaurant in the hotel offers fine dining with great daily menus and their signature Wiener Schnitzel which is simply delicious and excellent. I recommend eating here as well. Also recommended is the hotel lounge, dating to the mid-19th century. It is the hotel hub and a favourite spot with locals and residents for afternoon tea, cocktails or a snack with piano music. The hotel has lovely staff, from reception to housekeeping. All were very helpful and super friendly. The spa with pool and fitness room on the top floor cannot be beat with superb views of Munich's skyline. The breakfast offers a rich, varied buffet, with ala carte breakfast choices, to meet all palettes and the Maitre d's: Christine and Christian are true professionals who meet any wish you may have. Rooms are tasteful and well-appointed, with spacious bathrooms, beautiful linens and towels. Bathrobes and slippers are offered for spa visitors. This elegant hotel has beautiful decor equipped with all modern amenities, offering old-world charm at its best.

The hotel is lovely, the lobby has a nice atmosphere and is perfect for an afternoon tea. The staff was very nice and helped me every way they could after my flight kept being cancelled. Some of the reviews mentioned the room was a bit small, I feel the pictures actually don’t do the room justice, the room was lovely, it was not extremely spacious but this is a city hotel and it had all the comforts I expected from a Kempinski. A special thank you to the concierge who organised alternative travel arrangements at the last minute.

The hotel was definitely busy especially with all the flight cancellations, it was difficult to find space to sit in the lobby at times and there was a bit of a queue at reception. It was also impossible to call the hotel directly outside of normal hours - which I realise is now the same for all big chains - you just end up calling a service number for reservations. I miss the old days of being able to call and speak to reception easily.

The location was amazing - walking distance to old town. Staff was helpful and food in the lobby restaurant was good. Love the bathrobes. So great that they were willing to put a third real bed in the room for us.

The towels were kind of hard. The automatic toilet seat was annoying. On the third day I finally figured out how to turn it off.

This is an outstanding traditional hotel that has become a hotspot in Munich. It is super well located in the heart of the old town of Munich. Easy to walk to many sights and sounds. Service at all levels is superb - from the doorman to housekeeping. SUPERLATIVE breakfast! Great care and attention are given to many details, which make guests feel very special and at home at the same time. Wonderful linens, bath towels and duvets. The fitness and pool on the top floor cannot be beaten with the spectacular city view!

This location is the best, it's tough checking in because of the busy street and the tight circle at the entrance. The bellman are outstanding!!! Drinks at check in short wait Breakfast is great

The room is small for the price, but updated. Our carpet was smudged and stained in room 470. The lobby was fully of tables with dirty dishes everywhere--must have been a busy happy hour or something

Gorgeous luxury hotel. Clean and comfortable. Excellent facilities. Even though we had a street-facing room there was no noise thanks to quadruple glazing! The food was excellent. Staff were all very helpful and spoke very good English. Very convenient for the centre of Munich. We would definitely stay there again.
