This is a wonderful family owned boutique hotel in a very nice residential area but still close to everything you could want in Munich. We enjoyed our stay and felt like a local living in the city, hotel is beautifully designed and decorated. They offer coffee and tea on the house and they even have a fridge full of beer & wine for purchase, they have thought of everything that could make your stay comfortable. It is just a few doors down from a grocery store and in an area with lots of shops & restaurants. We would definitely stay here again, highly recommend it!

We didn't really have any complaints. One small issue was that our last morning, some guests allowed their children to run around making a lot of noise but it wasn't that big of an issue.

What a beautiful little gem of a hotel in a very nice part of Munich! We enjoyed our stay here so much! The room was impecably clean, comfortable, the staff were super nice and there was complimentary coffee (which was delicious, by the way). Lovely reception area, decorated with a lot of good taste, where you could enjoy your coffee or some moments in the afternoon. The neighbourhood is very nice, lots of places to eat/drink, a supermarket almost next door and a huge and beautiful park 10-15 mins away. Munich old town/city center is a 25-30 mins walk or a few stops with the metro.

The room was small but clean and comfortable. The hotel offers self-serve coffee and tea all day and night. The location is great—about a 10 walk to a subway station. There are cafes and parks nearby.

It’s a small hotel and isn’t staffed all the time. If you arrive early or have a late train or flight out, you will probably need to find somewhere else to store your bags. We found a hotel about 10 minutes away that offers luggage storage for a small fee, so it wasn’t a deal breaker for us.

Nice location, nice decoration

No Air Conditioning, it was very hot in the room. No ventilation The rooms are not well isolated, and a bit nosy, all the alley noise, can be heard clearly inside the room. The wall / door of the room, would be nice to be improved The duvet was too small

Munich Rooms is a lovely boutique hotel in the heart of Schwabing. It is close to public transit, restaurants, and shopping. It is minimal in design, but well thought out, clean, and quiet. The staff are very personable, kind, and helpful.

Lack of air conditioning is an issue in 30c plus temperatures. We were told there was no air con but didn't realise how humid it would be. Bathrooms are small, shower very small.

The room was comfortable and quiet and the bathroom was excellent. The owner/staff were friendly and helpful. I arrived late when there were no staff on duty but was sent good instructions on how to access the hotel and my room. About 10 min walk from the underground, nearer to the tram, but within an easy 30 or 40 min walk of the city centre, Olympic Park, English Gardens etc. Plenty of restaurants within a few mins walk and shops/cafes to pick up some breakfast.

The colour of the walls made the room a bit gloomy.

The location was fantastic for getting around town. A couple of U-Bahn stops got me to most major sights around the city center, and there were great food options within walking distance.

While the room was very well-appointed and clean and modern, it lacks air conditioning so it got a bit muggy, and it'd be worse during the summer. It would also have been nice if the bathroom had a fan to get rid of the moisture whenever I took a shower.

Nice, fresh, personal and neat hotel in a great location of Munich. Silent, comfortable. No breakfast at the hotel but plenty of options within walking disctance in the neighborhood. Very good for a business trip or a short private stay. I'm not a fan of the big chains. I stayed 3 nights.
