I'm really glad to have found this place. I need to travel to Munich quite frequently, and this place feels like a home away from home. The glory is in the details. From the instant hot water in the shower to the silent air conditioning and heating, it's the things you don't notice that really make the difference here. The staff is amazing, and the location could not be any better. On top of all of that, the bar is a real gem. Wolfgang, the Barkeeper, is a legend. I'll be a regular guest from now on, for sure. My search is over.
The restaurant is unfortunately overpriced, and doesn't always deliver quality wise. Wine and drinks choices are superb, but the food leaves a lot of room for improvement. From what I've heard, though, this is all subject to change, they are currently renovating and a new chef will take over.

We had an executive double which was well appointed, the bed was very comfortable, the balcony was an added bonus and the bathroom and shower excellent. The complimentary mini bar and coffee machine were a welcome addition. Overall a very nice stay.
The staff were efficient but overall not friendly although there are exceptions. Considering how good the bed was the pillows were poor. The location is a little way away from everything Munich has to offer and the breakfast and overall cost of the hotel were slightly expensive for what you get on balance.

We stayed in superior double room. It was nice size overlooking the courtyard. The bed was big and comfortable. There's also a nice bar offering tasty cocktails with courtyard access at the hotel. The hotel has very good location near public transport spots to get to the subway, trams and buses. We used the complimentary bicycles to tour the English garden. There were welcome fruits and sweets in the room and mini bar with water, soft drinks and beer was restocked daily. We didn't try the hotel breakfast, but nearby there are several cafés where you can get a good breakfast.
Our room didn't have a balcony, but the room below had one and the guests who stayed there used the balcony as home office taking customer calls all day long on two days in a row, which was quite annoying when trying to relax with open windows. The fitness room and sauna were nice extras. It would be great to have access to water dispenser or at least some cups as both activities make people quite thirsty. The housekeeping was very eager. On the day of the check out when we also had requested late check out until 12.30pm. We didn't think to put the privacy sign on the door as usually there is no room service prior to check out. We were woken up at 8.30am on a Saturday by housekeeping coming in to do room service.

Nice hotel, great location, very nice staff!
For a “5 star” to have no coffee machine in the room was disappointing. The shower also didn’t work (the adjustable height part didn’t work so you had to do it manually in your hand) and the white towels had marks on them. Amenities in the bathroom not replenished daily and again, not 5 star quality. It was a very nice hotel and the staff were first class but you can’t claim to be 5 star when these touches aren’t taken care of.

Amazing hotel! We stayed in a larger room with a sitting area. We were received with a fruit basket and orchid plant. Everything in the mini bar was complementary (beer, juices, sparkling water). They turned down twice a day with evening chocolate. Breakfast at the restaurant was delicious served elegantly.
Location was pretty but a little far for tourists from the city center. They told us it was in the embassy section of the city.

Room was very comfortable, and the train station was within 10 minutes walking.
We never got shown to our rooms when our room was ready. Just how to get to our room… didn’t show us the bar area or anything. I’ve never been to a 5 star hotel that didn’t offer late night food. Beyond surprised it has this kind of rating without the concierge and restaurant with minimal hours. We most likely will not be back. We travel every 30 days to luxury hotels around the world… and I was a bit confused by this one.

We enjoyed the 5-star services from the hotel. The staff are extremely helpful and understanding. My wife and I had booked a second room for our daughter to joind from Berlin, and our booking was non-refundable. However, our daugheter could not travel the day before because she caught a flu and was really ill. We wrote a long note to the hotel manager and explained the situation, and they were very understanding and allowed us to cancel her room without any penalty. We were very grateful. Nevertheless, we stayed for three nights and really enjoyed the place. The hotel is located in a quiet street, but there is a premier supermarket across the street where you can buy food and have breakfast. The hotel staff was so helpful, and they even helped us to ship a package to our daughter in Berlin. We will definitely stay at this place the next time we come to Munich.

While staying at the hotel, I observed that it had a ski resort-like appearance, a unique feature of a city-center hotel. I found the Diana Conference room to be ideal for the meetings that I had to conduct due to its spaciousness com, comfortable seating arrangements, and projection equipment. The reception desk, events team, breakfast service team, and dinner servers were accommodating and made my stay enjoyable.
During my stay at the Munchen Palace, there was one thing that bothered me the most - the TV set was too small and outdated. Moreover, the TV services provided by the hotel did not allow me to choose to pay per view of the Champions League games. As a fan of the Bayer Munchen team, I was disappointed to find out that the only thing available was a radio station broadcasted by the TV. For an upscale hotel like Munchen Palace, I expected a better and richer TV channel selection. Additionally, I found the cost of the daily breakfast and the extra food I requested for my guests in the conference room quite uncomfortable. I will be returning in November to hold meetings with my German partners, and I hope that the hotel management will address these concerns.

Beautiful Garden, beautiful room which was clean and spacious with very nice amenities. Great welcome staffs (I think he was concierge team) greeting you upon arrival, very helpful gentleman. The whole team was very helpful and attentive. Very nice breakfast selection in tasteful room next to garden, very good service. Overall it was a very pleasant stay!
location is quite good but not great as you have to go by taxi to old town and everywhere yet in safe and quiet area.

We loved all of the little touches, indicating attention to detail. A beautiful room, clearly well designed, the little frogs here and there, the fruits and restocking of the fridge every day, the gorgeous back patio and garden, the well-stocked bar, the delicious breakfasts, and so much more.
The breakfast was a bit pricey, I will say.
