Gorgeous boutique hotel exactly across the road from Munich East railway station. The neighbourhood is very village like, quiet streets, great shopping and plenty of dining establishments of a variety to choose from. There's a range of supermarkets and banks close by too. The room was excellent for a single it was large and roomy with a double bed! Staff were so friendly and helpful. There's an offering of bar snacks and soft drinks without charge and a small selection of alcoholic beverages paid through an honour system. It's an easy picturesque walk through nearby woodlands and riverside promenade to city centre or easy access by S Bahn and U Bahn stations a hop skip and a jump across the road.

Located close to public transport in Haidhausen, this hotel is a perfect starting point for train journeys and discovering Munich. Each room is decorated differently, our room was very spacious, clean and light. We particularly enjoyed also the "honour bar", a complimentary service for non-alcoholic beverages and sweets and the payable offer of wine and beer. Like that, the hotel saves energy on plenty of minibars, yet, the guests have a wide offer at their disposal. The reception is staffed 24h/7days, much appreciated for the human contact, the smile and the kindness of the receptionists.

Although the rooms to the street side have good noise cancelling windows, we would take a room to the inner court next time so to allow sleeping with open window. The shower drainage didn't work well.

1. The rooms were very aesthetic. Eye for detail could be seen in the decor. Welcome letter gave a personal touch. 2. Hotel changed our room to a room without carpet without any charges, when told about our allergy issue. 3. The staff were courteous and helpful, especially those at the reception. Would like to mention Ms. Olga who always had a lovely smile to greet us and the gentleman who changed our room without any charges. A senior gentleman spoke urdu/hindi too :-) 4. Complimentary chocolates, chips and drinks were nice too.

Glass bathroom door can have an option of blinds to cover its transparency.

Had a lovely stay at MOMA1890. Loved the stylish decor, comfy beds and posh toiletries. All the staff were friendly and helpful. They have a lounge with a minibar offering free drinks and snacks which was really nice. We stayed during a heatwave so we were very glad of the air conditioning! Location was perfect for us, there’s a metro/train station literally right outside so just a 7 minute ride to Marienplatz and all the main tourist spots. We liked being in Haidenhaus, it’s a quiet, leafy, family friendly suburb with lots of nice restaurants, cafes and shops. A great base for exploring the beautiful city of Munich

Super friendly staff and very helpful.my first solo vacation to a different country. They Gave great directions and info ,printed directions out for me.was able to navigate the bus and s-bahn. I never would have tried the bus on my own but with their Instructions I felt like I should give it a try. It was easy and fun and inexpensive and saw alot of Munich, real Munich. It was great! Cold beers from the honor bar. Beer prices were awesome. Umbrellas for guests to use, but someone stole the umbrella at the art museum! Weird! Easy,super easy access to Ost bahnhof.

Wifi was not working. Made it difficult for me to complete travel plans. I figured out how to get wifi and complete my plans by walking across the street to Ost bahnhof and using theirs.

First of all, the metro is outside of the room and you can hit the grocery store across the street. There’s also a very nice coffee shop close by. The staff was exceptional ! We had three rooms and they were very modern and different. Air conditioning during a very weird warm spell was much appreciated. Complementary beverages also very nice. The espresso machine was the bomb!

In the morning, they should have a coffee station for people who are not buying breakfast. I like to have a cup of coffee as soon as my feet hit the ground and it was a little inconvenient to get a pot of coffee from the kitchen.

Location, location, location. Near major transport hub of Ostbahnhof where you can travel to the city, country, airport. Crazy choice of cafes, restaurants and pubs nearby. 3 Supermarkets within 2 minutes' walk, but if you're just after a snack the hotel provides free coffee, tea, soft drinks, chips, nuts and chocolates. The rooms are generous in size and well laid out. The wallpaper may not be to everyone's taste, but it adds to the charm of the hotel.

The rooms with air-conditioners will cost you an extra 20 Euros a day if you choose to use it. Or you can open a window. Not sure that this would be adequate on a hot summer's day or night.

A beautiful hotel with friendly staff, especially Alessandro at breakfast and the team at reception. We really appreciated the lounge available for guests, offering complimentary water and snacks. The rooms exceeded our expectations: immaculate, the beds were spacious and comfortable, there was a desk where one could work, high speed wi-fi, bathroom was modern and the shower had excellent water pressure. The 12 pm checkout time was also very convenient. We highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again when traveling to Munich.

Our room faced the main street in front of the train station, which is very busy and noisy. Even though we stayed on one of the upper floors, the street noise was still noticeable. The breakfast in the hotel was quite expensive, but there weren’t many alternative options for breakfast near the hotel either. Location is very convenient but not exactly a short walk from the center (about 30mins walk to Marieplatz); with the subway though it is only couple of stops away, it is very fast and short commute.

This hotel and all the staff were 5 star! I highly recommend this hotel for the location and very friendly staff. It is right across the street from the OST(east) train station, lots of food options nearby. I arrived early and didn't expect to have my room ready as I came in from a red-eye flight. I was pleasantly surprised that my room was ready which was awesome to get a shower in and drop my luggage. I cant say enough great things about this Hotel and the staff! I will stay here again when I come back to Munich.

Room was CLEAN, spacious, and very quiet (courtyard view). Bathroom was particularly spacious rather than the normal cramped box. The location across from the Ostbahnhof was very convenient for easily reaching all parts of Munich without having the dirt, noise, and crowds around the main station. The breakfast was as good or better than any other "European" breakfasts we saw in our 3 weeks of travel. Plenty of pastries, rolls, cereals, meats/cheeses, soft-boiled eggs, fruit - plus hot scrambled eggs and diced fruit bowl. Most importantly, everything looked fresh and appealing.
