We had a fantastic break at the hotel. The breakfast and evening meal was very good quality. The facilities were very exceptional and even though the hotel was fully booked, the areas were always very quiet and relaxing. The location was wonderful. The staff were very friendly.

Tea and coffee facilities should be provided in the bedroom. Maybe a little information on arrival (possibly in English aswell) .... e.g. where the spa is located (map), how to get into Potsdam, other services available (hiring bikes) and things to do in the area. Other pillow options (if I'm being really fussy).

An exceptional weekend stay at the Insel Hotel. The premises, the room, the staff, the spa are amazing. The location is beautiful, with the lake view, very calm and relaxing overall. Great service at all levels, restaurant's menu is quite limited, however, everything we ordered was extremely tasty - specifically loved the three chocolates desert! The breakfast is very rich and tasty, everything is fresh. Highly recommend for stay and will be back! Thanks for the amazing stay!

Nothing to complain really, all was perfect. Just one small thing that I personally missed was the kettle in the room, but that's not a big problem.

Very comfortable hotel right by the lake. There is in indoor spa, plus a sauna boat on the lake itself, so you can jump in the lake for a swim. Nice terrace dining with lovely view. Dinner was good and breakfast was stellar. Friendly staff.

There is a 11 euro charge per day per person to use the spa. There’s also a charge for parking.

Everything was fine during our stay in hotel nothing exemptional nor negative. As positive aspect I would point out how peaceful location is, really perfect for resting, but I was traveling for work and I couldn't fully enjoy it.

There was some construction work in front of hotel, hotel parking was full and we parked on some free area outside of official parking, but hotel invoiced using parking during our stay.

Lovely location, jogging or walks around the lake, through the forests, very friendly staff, great service.

The nearest bus station is a 12min walk, so take appropriate clothing and footwear if it rains. Also Taxis don't always seem to be available.

Scenic waterside location, outdoor pool, really nice wellness and sauna area. Room had a balcony with water view. Super front desk staff very helpful resolving minor issues quickly and friendly. Complimentary wine in the room fridge.

Decor a little dated.

The whole experience was excellent and completely worth it. Breakfast was great and dinner super delicious.

The bed was a small side. I booked a king size mattress realized they provided a room with one twin bed.

The hotel does not get a lot of sunshine due to very big trees with wide branches

From the slightly remote location to the excellent service! Spacious room. We ate at the restaurant (highly recommended) staff was very friendly and attentive. We will definitely visit again and take advantage of their spa package.
