Really comfortable hotel, located directly in the Old Town of Quedlinburg. The location was really amazing, as were the breakfast and the personell.

The only problematic part was the parking situation. Due to its great location, parking nearby can be challenging. The hotel has its own parking lot, but it can become crowded. Apart from that, we missed ammenities such as water boiler with tea/coffee in the room, and also the pillows weren't comfortable - they were rather way too soft.

Amazing hotel full of character, that was very clean, comfortable and direct on the centre.

It’s a shame it has not lifted, but understandable due to age of property as the stairs are very narrow and fairly steep, but please don’t let this put you off. Also the carpark is ~80meters away over some very cobbled streets, but then this is why you go to this hotel, so again please don’t let this put you off.

Check-in, and desk personnel very accommodating. Older building but that's part of the charm. Great location for their breakfast room and excellent breakfast! Personnel very accommodating!

Parking was absolutely abysmal. Nearest parking lot blocks and blocks away, since hotel is on a pedestrian zone. It would behoove the city to allow taxis to transfer passengers and luggage drop off privileges.

The breakfast was really nice. The hotel is in the middle of the town, easy to get around. The restaurant were fully booked on Saturday evening, but the staff managed to book us in, that was really good! The guy who worked on Sunday when we were checking was really nice. He was very helpful and spoke good English! We had a really nice and big room. Nice and newly renovated bathrooms!

We were living on the fourth floor, so it was a little hard to carry up the luggage as there are no lift!

I had a cozy top floor room over courtyard. It was quiet and felt a little rustic, ie "authentic" for the area. Amazing cakes and pastries in the restaurant. Right in the heart of the central square; location hard to beat.

No bellman offered to assist and many stairs for older people to handle. I had to carry the heavy bags up for my 76 year old brother (I am 61).

We chose the new annexe because it has a lift. The room was large and comfortable and the air-conditioning was very effective which was just as well because we were in a heatwave. The staff were friendly and helpful and the situation could not be bettered. The breakfast buffet was relatively simple but what was on offer was good quality. It pays to got to breakfast early because things tended to run out.

This is an observation, not a criticism. The hotel was not serving evening meals at that time and we did not realise that it can be difficult to get a table at weekends unless you book ahead. I don't know if this is the general rule in Germany or because Quedlinburg is so popular.

We had an excellent, large "comfort" room with views of the Marktplatz. The old-style decor was very nice. There was a fan in the room which was a welcome addition. The staff were all friendly and helpful. They also spoke good English which isn't that common in this area. The breakfast was very good and the room was pleasant to sit in.

The hotel Wi-Fi was basically unuseable. Thankfully I had mobile data and the free Quedlinburg Wi-Fi also worked. It wasn't a problem for us, but the old part of the hotel has steep stairs and no lift so I would not recommend it for those with reduced mobility.

The hotel was fabulous and the staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delightful with great choices and great coffee! The room was lovely with good quality furnishings and a very comfortable bed. Many of the staff spoke perfect English which was very helpful. The town of Quedlinburg was a great location and a great base for exploring the Harz mountains, picture postcard beautiful.

This hotel is in an ancient building that was formerly the tanners' guild hall. So it was fitting for a stay in this amazing preserved historic town. Our room was spacious with a large bathroom and balcony and views in 2 directions.

The building is old so the floors creak all the time and they slope. But this is to be expected if you choose to stay in a characterful hotel, rather than a modern construction

Right in the middle of the City. Spotlessly clean, helpful staff, nice view of the square from the window. Big spacious room and bathroom. Large bed albeit 2 mattresses which is normal for Europe. Good breakfast buffet with ample choices.

Squeaky floorboards. No lift to upper floors for older people with luggage.
