The breakfast was exceptional, so much variety. The location by the lake was picturesque. It was so quiet and no noise, so relaxing.

I had a small room in the third floor, it was under the roof and only a small window was there so it was a bit dark, also it was too warm to sleep. It was too expensive for such a room (140 Euros for a single room including breakfast, that price would have been ok for the first floor or the basement but not a roof room). The shower didn't really function because where setting cold or hot it failed to set it because it was obviously broken, it was extremely hot, so I couldn't wash my hair. The taxi that the reception ordered for me never showed up even if I relied on it since I had to go to the railway station at a certain time. Luckily, I could take a bus which was very rare on a Sunday and I could make it on time to catch my train. What a hassle.

Great location, with Lake Ratzeburg on either side of the hotel. The hotel was a welcome oasis after riding over a 1,000 miles on our motorbikes. Comfortable, friendly and in a great location. The food was good, a nice bar for an evening drink and the VIEW over the lake from the dining area is simply stunning. Ratzeburg is the sweetest town, with great walks around the lakes, friendly people and some good bars and restaurants in the centre. For the non-German speaking amongst us, some English speaking TV would have been nice in the bedrooms. Apart from that, it's a good hotel in a beautiful location. ☺

There is little that could be improved.

Room with Lake view is highly recommended. The room was very clean and the view from the terrace was incredible. For our dog, they have also prepared everything required in the room. Breakfast is also top class! Altstadt is only 5 min walk from the hotel but you wouldn't like to leave the room anyhow:) We would definitely come again.

If the hotel had more parking places, it would be more convenient. We had to park somewhere else since there were no free park spaces.

Extremely spacious and lovely room, overlooking the water. Modern and roomy bathroom. Staff extremely accommodating, carried my bags up the stairs as we were in a section with no elevator. Parking across the street in a public pay lot.

Nothing, was all great Didn't try the restaurant. Would definitely return.

Everything was perfect. Excellent breakfast with lovely lake view. Comfortable beds. Parking infront of the hotel for free, or across the street for 9eur/day or 2,5eur/hour.

No kettle on the room.

The staff are very friendly and made me feel welcome immediately. There's a secure space for the more expensive bikes and the room with its lake view is amazing. I also like the breakfast very much, and especially the breakfast room with the terrific view

exellent location but parking end charging , across the street ,is a bit problematic Great restaurant! very good breakfast , very nice room and balcony ,: super mattrasses lovely garden at the lake !

Two of the staff were not friendly and purely transactional One waitress and one older receptionist Otherwise staff friendly and helpful

The room was spacious and clean, very tastefully decorated in a way that made it immediately feel like home! The beds even came with essential oil tissues to help you sleep better... the staff was also very kind and helpful, and the view from the dining area is gorgeous and very peaceful. A great start to the morning!

The covers were not too wide, kept slipping off during the night.

A bit bigger SpA area would be required as we did not find available loungers after using the Sauna.
