Perfect place to stay to split our 2-day roadtrip with a comfortable place to sleep. Staff is very friendly, beds are comfortable, we were able to stay with our 2 cats for a small 15 euro fee (~17% of the base price), which we felt was fair. This might be our go-to road trip interval from now on!

Rooms are very close to each other and we gotta be careful with the noise not to bother the other guests (floors are a bit old and it's hard not to make noise just walking around); Otherwise no major complaints.

the hotel is quiet, located 5 minutes from the river. very peaceful place with a beautiful garden nearby. we took the cheapest room for 62 euros and for that price it was a good trip. we were offered several food options and we took breakfast. quite tasty, simple and filling for 9 euros. you can hear steps, opening/closing doors quite well, because the building is old, but apart from us there were very few visitors, so it was still very quiet

I stayed for one night on my way to Lübeck. I had a warm greeting and was offered breakfast in the morning (add on). The car was parked safely outside the property, area is nice and the lake is over the main road. My room had a large double bed and there was plenty of space in the room itself. The shared bathroom at the end of the corridor is modern, kept clean and tidy. I was happy with my stay. This is a nice choice of accommodation when travelling.

Quiet and close to nature. Free parking close to the building. Quite close to Lubeck as well. There was mini fridge is our rooms. Our rooms was good in size and clean, including the bathrooms.

The rooms could be a little bit cheaper. Friendly staff but it was a little bit tricky to comunicate in english. Early check-out time, could be longer.

Very clean, affordable, suitable for night stop from ferry arrived to Travemunde. Staff was very supportive. One improvement suggestion - to describe where the entrance door is. We arrived after reception hours and could not find the correct entrance for some time.

The hotel is in a quiet setting near a lake (there are nice walks around the lake, which can be reached directly from the property). The staff were very friendly and welcoming. Sadly we were not able to take advantage of the breakfast as we were leaving early in the morning. The rooms were basic but comfortable.

Beautiful very old Krug with tasteful clean rooms! Walking distance to the lake where you can swim!
