The location in view of arriving from the Travemünde harbour was perfect - the drive was short enough and the route easy from the highway. The room was nice and quiet, and we liked that there was air conditioning available. The breakfast was not included in the room price but we bought it separately and enjoyed the varying selection of warm and cold dishes.

The hotel ignored our wish of getting a room in the upper floor and far from the elevators. In this case it was not dramatic as the room appeared to be sound-proofed. There was a smell of sewer in the bathroom that did not go away even when we added water in the drainage on the floor. The shower head was calcified.

When we arrived it turned out that there had been a mistake with the booking and we were offered to stay in the suite with separate beds and bathroom instead of the two double rooms with extra beds that we booked. The hotel had tried to arrange another accommodation for us, but as it was fully booked in the whole of Lubeck this was the only option. The staff was very helpful on this occasion and we were compensated in a good way, even if it was not optimal to stay in the same room with several small children :) We want to highlight the management at the hotel who also worked with the breakfast in the morning and prepared separate dishes for us due to allergies and special needs. What staff and service this place has, can only say WOW!

We had a delightful and relaxing stay in your hotel. Infact, it has been one of our best stays so far. Staff at reception is very polite and facilitative. It is a walkable distance to altstadt. Future of hotel looks very promising too. Hotel is going to have an open terrace /deck and spa facility soon.

However, 2 tiny improvements can further enhance the overall experience. Staff in the breakfast hall was though well mannered it was not attentive to the needs of breakfast,e.g., 1 juice dispensing machine ran out of juice and it was not refilled despite informing staff, coffee machine did not dispense coffee for sometime and staff was informed about it, no telephone connection in room.

The hotel seems to be quite large so they had availability still when many others were fully booked. It is a bit away from the old town, however the area is very quiet. The room was comfortable and even had a small balcony. As there was also a small desk, it was odd that there was no chair for that (other than balcony chairs, that I took inside to use). The breakfast was not included and the price of 18 euros per person quite high, but I had to admit that the quality of breakfast was one of the best I have seen.

Liked the large rooms and balcony. Bed was also comfortable. Location was fine because close to car rental drop off and the main train station.

Breakfast wasn’t included and was expensive so avoided and ate at bakery nearby. The location was a little distant from the old city , about 20 minute walk but not too difficult to reach on foot.

The rooms were huge but the interior was very dated. The location is excellent for the down town area.

The air conditioning is very underpowered for the size of the rooms. The hotel feels like it got stuck some time in the late 1980's. The sofa bed is not comfortable. The bathroom appeared dirty.

There was a lot of choice for breakfast. Well done! The location is close enough to the town centre for walking.

The food for breakfast needed to be covered, there were a lot of flies about which landed uninhinited on cheese, ham, bread etc. The place felt earlily empty.

We were visiting our family, so only used the hotel to stay overnight. A very nice hotel, though. The staff was very friendly, and the room was quite comfortable.

Nothing really to complain about. However, I couldn't really understand why it hadn't been possible to install a closing door to the shower cabin so that the water doesn't get spilled all over the place.

I was gladly surprised with small trifles inside the room (small candies, statues, etc.) - I was feeling like I'm at home. Never seen smth like that over the last 15 years of my travelling. The breakfast was also amazing - plenty of choices

I couldn't fix a tap in my bathroom so all the time when I was taking a shower there was a big puddle around it

Location is excellent, rooms are excellent. You can find free parking next to hotel. Close to city center but far enough to get good night sleep. Price was normal even at the time of messe.

I would have had a dinner if the restaurant was open. Restaurant open only for breakfast.
