Surrounded by greenery in peaceful setting

Access to property, while always tricky, this time the road was closed and alternate access difficult to find. No elevator, hit the head on slanted ceiling in the room, restaurant food disappointing. Reception staff not very friendly. Don’t expect to return to this place.

We enjoyed a very charming and enjoyable stay in this country-style hotel, close to Lubeck. There's ample parking, WiFi and a friendly reception. The hotel spa was a great bonus and the daily breakfast was outstanding! There was plenty of choice, fresh fruit, tasty cooked options and gluten-free bread available upon request. The country setting was very quiet and ideal for relaxing after the days spent sightseeing. Old Town Lubeck is very easy to drive to 15 mins away, so we loved the proximity! The service we received at the hotel restaurant was excellent, warm and inviting. When I left some luggage on check-out they were very helpful in notifying me and arranging prompt shipment. They went above and beyond in every way. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality!

Would have liked the choice of a firmer pillow. The room safe was temperamental. The safe was reset when I mentioned it, so they were good at sorting any minor issues out. There was nothing big really to detract from a lovely stay! Everything was very pleasant!

Our room was spacious and well-appointed. The ensuite bathroom was spacious, clean and also well-appointed. The restaurant was first class; the wine list and the food were outstanding, as were the serving staff - knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The receptionist at the front of house was very welcoming, friendly and efficient. All in all a great stay, highly recommended and well worth another visit. The breakfast was plentiful and well laid out. A great start to the day..

It was not immediately clear where the reception was and although the location was not extensive, I did have to walk around to find the right place to check-in.

The location is perfect. Just 15 mins from the centre of Lubeck, situated in stunning, peaceful countryside. Lovely views from the garden. We really enjoyed our evening meals and our room was excellent. Perfect hotel.

Size of room. Very Quiet after 10:00 pm. Location, very nice and not far from the airport. Breakfast from 7:00 am; perfect for taking a flight

Room: Bed-Size 200 cm instead of the 180 in width would be better. Payment: only credit card accepted no cash! Caused a short problem because our std Euro-credit card was not accepted (worked in the morning on another occasion in the region). It seems that this occurs often!

This hotel is set in beautiful surroundings, mostly their own garden, with large old trees and many nice spots to sit down. There is also a little playground. Short car ride to Luebeck city centre.

No tea making facilities (kettle), only a Nespresso-type coffee machine.

Lovely room with a small garden, comfortable beds, amazing breakfast. Everything clean, fresh and crisp. The on site restaurant was super friendly and they made us a vegetarian version the days menu.

the is a brilliant place to stay. From the first greeting at reception it was a great experience. The resturant served amazing food and the staff there were experienced and helpful. I enjoyed the spa too. The room was a great size and bathroom felt like a treat. Will definitely try to book there again if passing that way.

Nothing to report here. It was spot on.

Everything - comfort, decor, bed, beautiful garden, windows that opened so we had fresh air, happy and helpful staff. The breakfast room was a beautiful space to be in and the breakfast feast was fantastic.
