A peaceful and welcoming stay in the Westerwald. What made it truly special was the warmth of the people running it—different staff members pitched in to make me feel at home, taking time to show me around and speak English since my German was hesitant at best. My room was spotless and spacious, with a shower that had multiple stream settings. I loved waking up to birdsong and sleeping in perfect quiet. The restaurant is excellent, with fresh seasonal dishes like buttered spring asparagus and arguably the most flavorful eggs for breakfast I've ever had, and big windows overlooking the forest. The coffee ice cream with crunchy bits was so good, I had it twice. Hope to return soon!

Great spot just steps off the Rheinsteig trail. Friendly clean- big room with amazing windows and view of the forest. Big breakfast buffet. What now could you ask for?

* Pillows are too soft to be supportive

Lovely hotel in a stunning location literally just off the Rheinsteig walking trail. Food and drink were excellent. The family who run the hotel are very friendly and helpful.

Very accomodating regarding breakfast. Nice, comfortable room. Great location right near an access point to the Rheinsteig. Very fair price!
