We stayed at this hotel on the way to and back from Austria where we spent our ski holidays. The family room was big and comfortable. It is very close to the cute city Rothenburg op ter Tauber. Breakfast is good. Staff is very nice. My son forgot his bank card and ID there and on the next day we got a phone call informing us they have found it. There is one charger for electric cars, but it needs to be reserved.

Not a big issue but when we asked if there was a charger to electric cars it was not informed we need to reserve it, so when we got to the hotel on our way to Austria it was already taken. On the way back, we reserved it and it worked well.

Lovely staff, nice breakfast and pleasant rooms. The family room is spacious, with an attic housing a second double bed, and a decent sized living area.

The family room we rented is up multiple sets of stairs, and was away from the main building. Not a major issue for most, but just something to keep in mind if travelling with elderly or those with limited mobility.

Location - quiet and nice neighbourhood. Lovely house. The staff was very kind to upgrade us to a larger family room (though we did not take it up as the stairs were difficult for our heavy luggage), and helped to change back to room on ground floor.

It's in a cute village only 11 minutes from Rothenburg. Most people have a car that stay there but there are buses during the week. Amazing historic inn. Wonderful breakfast. Welcoming and genuinely nice staff. The bathroom was renovated and we had an awesome bath tub.

Maybe just the bed was a bit unsupportive.

Nice, cosy and typically German decorated hotel where we stayed only one night for our road trip. Friendly staff, good breakfast and spacious room.

The only drawback was that the room had no air conditioning, which made it extremely hot. However, there was a fan available.

We were visiting nearby Rothenburg o.d. Tauber. The Hotel is only five minutes by car in Steinsfeld, a small scenic Village. The rooms were exceptionally clean, well equiped, spacious and very warm. Breakfast in an antique decorated hall was perfect. Higly recommended, especially for families...

Not staying a second night...

The location was quite remote for walking around, but closeby to Rothenburg ob der Tauber. The hotel has a long tradition which can be seen in the breakfast room. Our room was in a separate building and was very spacious. Breakfast was nice and is highly recommended. The cancellation policy (which we didn't use) is one of the best I have seen.

The bed were all single beds pulled together for a double, but our baby in the middle was slipping in between the matresses at nighttime. There was an annoying step in between our two rooms where you almost tripped everytime. The parking spaces were rather limited and tight.

A very good option for visiting Rothenburg. Just 15 easy minutes by car. Previous reviews made me doubt the breakfast, but I was pleasantly surprised: a good selection served in a traditional Bavarian setting. No cheap jams in plastic wrappers or re-heated rolls. We would wholeheartedly recommend this hotel.

The charm of staying in a traditional house where the owners are living there. The house feels warm and personal. The breakfast was very good considering this is family-run. Quiet and relaxing.

The family room is actually two rooms connected by a common bathroom. Therefore it was a bit of a hassle remember to lock and unlock the bathroom door to the other room.
