Location is great. It was right by the old city wall, which gives a good feel. Timbered traditional German facade with flower boxes, but modern inside. It's also close to most of the main attractions. Staff were extremely friendly and allowed us to check in early without charging us any extra. Breakfast was exceptional. The provided us with a sheet to fill out our preferences for what we wanted and time for it to be ready. I expected it to be a typical buffet, but found that it was made to order and they were ready for us when we arrived. They do not have long term parking right near the hotel, but there is a public lot that is relatively close by, but outside the city walls. Easy access to the lot is provided by a opening in the old walls. We were able to park outside and load bags in the local spaces, and do the reverse when leaving.

Very clean, tidy and close to square. Owner of this hotel are awesome. He is and his wife is very friendly , hospital and smiley at all times. They are Biker friendly, and helped me a lot storing my bike. They are also great bikers. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone

Excellent location, just inside the city wall but perfectly situated next to a large parking area. Good service and a really nice evening meal. Room was spacious and modern decoration.

Breakfast was very disappointing. Expensive but bare minimum selection of food and over cooked sausages and bacon. Far better choice would have been to walk to one of the many bakeries doing nice breakfast options.

Warm and comfortable and a great location in the historic centre but close to the railway station too. I have rarely slept so well, really quiet room despite being so central. Good views from the rooms of the famous city walls.

Excellent location, beautiful building inside and outside, all renovated, refurbished recently. Just next to the city walls of an pld mediaval amazing town, possible to walk on the city walls around it all. Super helpful staff, amazing breakfast, couldn't be any better. Highly recommended for everyone. Lady serving the breakfast did really well, super tasty handmade omelett, coffee, + full continental, salmon included. Well done

Worth booking a pricier room with a town view. My room was by the city wall near one of the city gates (Thomas). With an open window you could hear the evening/morning bells. The town is pretty quiet overnight. The hotel has very little public parking, but management was quite clear with instructions to find overnight parking just a few minutes (outside the ancient town walls) nearby.

Nice looking establishment, friendly and helpful reception staff

The extremely bright red and green strobe light that flickered throughout the night in our accessible suite. Although my travel companion and I are neither disabled nor required the accessible features, I found it extremely hard to sleep with such horrendous distraction. It was right in the foyer and no way to close it off.

The staff were superb - very friendly and professional. The hotel is in an old building with a traditional exterior but is very sleek and modern inside. Breakfast is also a major highlight, as I've found throughout my trip to Germany.

The part of the hotel where my room was located was strangely hot. Honestly had no idea why that was. Probably great in February!

Lovely hotel in an old medieval building. Nicely done up. We had the view of it's lovely courtyard and the old castle walls from the room. Comfortable bed. Location is very close to the car park so convenient to roll suitcases down the pebbled street. It's within the old town area. They had provided fans as per our request.

Super friendly staff. Excellent location, quiet while walking distance to market square. Hotel rooms clean and comfortable. Breakfast- all you need to start your day. No stress with parking your car. You can off load your luggage in front of the hotel and later take your car outside the city wall (walking distance) and pay by app.
