Wow, what an amazing location to be able to see the Plönlein House right from the window of our room! Our host was super friendly and took extra time to explain the parking and get us settled in. The room was spacious and comfortable and the breakfast buffet was absolutely amazing! We also enjoyed being able to stop back at our hotel and make coffee during the day for a quick refreshment. Absolutely the best place to stay in Rothenburg ob der Tauber!

I traveled with my Dad and the location was perfect for walking the town

I reserved last minute, so I don’t know if there would have been other options, but we really didn’t need 3 beds, I would have preferred 2. We paid extra where I normally wouldn’t have, but as it turns out I did like having a separate room. I didn’t understand that there was onsite parking, not speaking German, I didn’t see it on the site, so we had quite a bit of trouble finding parking in the outside lot.

The staff was wonderful and made great suggestions for the area. Parking was helpful though the lot can get tight when it is full. Breakfast was good. The location is fantastic as the town is extremely walkable.

Just wish the Guest House room had air conditioning but I knew that when booking. The fan in the room was much appreciated.

Fabulous old building right in the centre of town. Parking available a couple of minutes away. Fabulous view from the breakfast room and breakfast was good also.

Nothing particularly wrong but the bathroom and toilet both have glass doors which is not our personal preference. However the bathroom was big and had a bath and separate shower.

Fantastic location, right next to the Plonlein (the Instagram house). We could actually stick our heads out the window and take photos of it (room 2, floor 1). Very spacious and comfortable room, great breakfast with amazing views. Rothenburg ob der Tauber is a stunning place, and this hotel was right in the middle of the action. Highly recommend.

I didn't expect a lot at first, that's maybe I was so impressed by this hotel. It has two locations - the main building and the guesthouse, across the street from each other. The hotel is really old, so you're staying at the historical place. Great experience, besides it's at the Plönlein - one of the best and known sights in town. Also (and I can't stress this enough) you must take breakfast here - the view from the restaurant is absolutely stunning! The inside decorations of the hotel are also great - you immediately get that warm cosy feelilng of an old, but elegant house. The staff is really nice too! We called in advance to let know that we're coming late and on a car, and that we need a paking spot. The lady on the reception made sure that we're getting that spot, which was most important considering that the town is not suited for cars at all.

Located right in the street of the typical photo of Rothemburg. I stayed in the guest house which is across the street (independent building of the main hotel). Rooms are tradicional but well kept. The breakfast room is a truly gem, gives an spectacular view of the city.

Central location. Fantastic view from breakfast room. Rich breakfast. Hotel private Parking 50 mt from hotel in internal courtyard. Comfortable bed and functional bathroom.

Hotel in historical building, might look old fashioned depending on personal taste.

The location is amazing! There is elevator, and it helped a lot my aunt. We liked the breakfast! And, the view is great! About the staff, they are very friendly and helpful! I really recommend.

Just improve the cleaning under the sofa and bed in the bedroom.l

Location is perfect. Front desk lady was friendly. Breakfast perfect.

Rooms are not the best... One room really had bathroom in the room! We asked to change it.. not cozy! At all.
