We had a wonderful one-night stay in this charming house located right in the heart of Rothenburg ob der Tauber. The house was cozy, clean, and perfectly equipped for a comfortable stay. Its location within the quaint little town made it easy to explore the picturesque streets, historic architecture, and unique shops. Rothenburg itself feels like stepping back in time, with its fairy-tale atmosphere and friendly locals. We wish we could have stayed longer to soak in more of its magic. Highly recommend both the town and this lovely accommodation for a memorable visit!

Such a great place. We loved staying in this old house it was such an important part of coming here. The strep creaky stairs were fun (would be challenging for some). Beds were comfortable, bathrooms were great. Conveniently located, close to shops and restaurants. We could see the wall and then the beautiful scenery from our bedroom window.

Nothing. It was exactly what we anticipated. Well, my 6.5 partner had to tip his head sideways at times but we 100% expected that. There's no way to make him shorter 😉

Excellent location and easy access when we first arrived. No staff around but that did not worry me. Room was large and clean. Bed was comfortable with a topper on the mattress which helped. Just steps from centre of town. Parking outside town was easy to reach and we could drive in to unload our car.

Could update the fixtures but as it was so good value I did not need this. Great if the downstairs cafe had been open but I understand this is not always easy to do to make money. I changed the TV remote batteries and that was all that was needed. Bathroom shower head slips a bit if you are tall that needs fixing up.

The location could not have been better! This place is right in the center of the walled city and is easy walking distance to the main square, the fortress walls, and restaurants. The owners were great and very helpful and kind.

It was very hard to find this place, as the signage is a bit confusing and the downstairs is actually a restaurant. However, once in, we realized that it is just a tiny little guesthouse, which was great.

Rothenburg ob der Tauber is a truly beautiful old town, The accommodation was located perfectly and was clean, the set up was perfect for us as we were visiting with other family members so we had most of the property to ourselves! the owners were very friendly and helpful. We had visited Rothenburg during the summer which was absolutely beautiful and was keen to return in December for the Christmas Markets! it was everything we could wish for and would highly recommend to anyone wanting to experience a traditional Christmas Market that is much smaller and less crowded than other larger cities such as Nuremberg.

I liked everything about the place. The owners are incredibly nice and extremely helpful. I really enjoyed spending time with them. Although breakfast wasn't included, it was not unreasonable and extremely well prepared as the owners run the restaurant out of the place. The room was quiet and comfortable and well appointed. The location is fantastic. Very near to everything without being anywhere noisy.

We loved that the house was 700 years old! Very friendly owners who welcomed us to the house. Beautiful views from both bedrooms- we got the whole upstairs for our family of 4.

No air conditioning- we used the fans to try and stay cool. Very small shower with no place to put toiletries.

The location was perfect and the charm of the building really help set the mood for the fairytale town. Check in was super easy and well communicated.

The hot water was a bit hit and miss but you don't expect everything to run perfectly in a 700 yr old building

The place was perfectly located and a great value! It was wonderful to have separate rooms from our child. The owners were lovely and were so thoughtful of our allergies when making breakfast ( which was delicious).

If you are not good with steps, this place is not for you. There were definitely quirks of being an old building but it was very comfortable.

It’s a very cute little pension right in a centre of old town. I felt like I was visiting my grandma, in a good way! Very different to staying in a hotel.

The only improvement I would suggest is to invest into a good pillows. It was a big contrast between really comfortable mattress and almost non-existing pillow. I struggled to get comfy and woke up a few times through the night with a neck pain
