Our room (#6) was SUPER comfy and large. Ask for it if it’s available. Pay the little bit extra. It will be worth it! The staff is warm and welcoming. The hotel is convenient to the Market Square, but far enough away so you avoid the crowds. Plus, you’re right next to the beautiful gardens so you can walk off dinner strolling to watch the sun set. Another highlight is the little private garden behind the hotel where you can sit to enjoy a cold drink and sweet. So relaxing after walking all day. Finally, the breakfast is just lovely. We felt pampered the entire time we were there.

This hotel is situated right in the heart of Rothenburg ob der Tauber but is easy to reach by car and offers off street parking, which in a small town with narrow streets is a true bonus when travelling in a car. On arrival we were greeted at reception by the owner who explained everything and, booked us in and showed us to our room. The building itself is historic and impressive and the room was equally so - large, spotlessly clean and very comfortably appointed. We enjoyed breakfast each morning and the choice and quality of produce on offer was superb. The staff could not have been more helpful of friendly. This hotel is a must for a stay in Rothenburg ob der Tauber and we will return.

We liked everything about about Hotel BurgGartenPalais

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel BurgGartenpalais. The location was great and the room was comfortable. Our room was a little small I think becase we had the family room where they have two rooms next to each other connected by a private hallway in the middle. The hall and stuff took up space. Beds were comfortable. It has private parking (for additional cost) and an elevator which was helpful for us as we got in late and were tired. The staff was very nice. The nice lady who checked us out was super helpful with helping us make copies of some documents as we lost our passports and needed to get new ones. The breakfast was good. They had cooked to order eggs along with the meats, cheeses, pastries, yogurt, etc.

Our rooms were a bit tight but maybe that was because we had the family area. It has air conditioning - it worked okay but not great. Our rooms were facing the sun so maybe that is why the a/c had to work so hard.

Staff are very friendly, helpful and efficient. On arrival we were shown 2 rooms to choose from!! Location brilliant; right in centre of town. Clean and very good breakfast

We liked everything. Only the mattresses were a bit soft for our liking. Seeing the parking and driving situation (tourists crowding the streets) I can understand one pays for parking behind hotel but found the daily rate slightly high. Saying that, it seems to be the going rate across the region and for the convenience of having the car close by, we gladly paid

The room was beautiful! The beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was much larger than expected, and we had a tub separate bathtub in the room. Finally, the "foyer" of the room provided for extra sound proofing. There is also an elevator in this hotel which is great. Our family does not have any mobility issues, but someone did, the elevator is very helpful. Breakfast was great! The selection of meats and chesses was fantastic. The eggs were cooked perfectly to order (we ordered sunny side up and boiled)..

Something I was expecting was a coffee machine in the room (nespresso type of machine). We did have tea, though! Otherwise, we liked everything about our stay! The staff was friendly, the room was clean and large. The breakfast was delicious.

We stayed just one night at Hotel BurggartenPalais and absolutely loved it. This charming hotel delivered fantastic hospitality throughout, making our brief stop feel truly special. The location is perfect – right in the heart of the old town, with everything just a short walk away. Despite being so central, it's still very accessible by car, and the private parking on-site was a big plus for us. One of our favorite moments was relaxing in their beautiful garden with an afternoon drink – such a peaceful spot. All in all, a wonderful stay that we’d gladly return to!

We were so surprised how wonderful the hotel was. We knew it was nice by the pictures online, but it exceeded our expectations. We were a family of four and stayed in the chalet of the hotel. It was big, had more amenities than we expected, parking was right outside our exit, and the staff was super friendly. Oh, and the breakfast was great! The location of the hotel is perfect. We walked out of the front of the hotel and walked up the street to all the shops and main square. We will definitely go back again! We can not say enough good things about the hotel and our stay!

Such Old World Charm, its a very charming hotel, we could park just behind the hotel and make unpacking and loading so much easier, we also brought our dog with, hotel has a lift and that helped a lot with the dog and the luggage. Very Clean and staff very friendly , very good drinks at the bar area, and the breakfast was also really nice. Location is very good, can walk out to the old city views to see the forest and town on the hill and to the other side you walk directly to the main square and also close to the big Kathe Wohlfahrt store. We had a very nice stay , its cozy and loved the old world charming feel of the hotel.

This hotel was located 2 min walk from the main town square where the Christmas markets are and is in a beautiful street. The staff were so friendly and I loved how we were staying in an historic building with great history, which has been decorated beautifully. We got the Classic bedroom, and the beds were comfy, with a large bathroom. Breakfast the next morning was lovely as well, enjoyed having some good old fashion cornflakes and fruit, along with my eggs and coffee. Would definitely stay here again thank you for a.lovely stay and for also booking a taxi for us back to the train station. Nothing was a problem.for the staff at this hotel. we even got a little history lesson, which was a bonus!

Nothing, it was a great stay.

Location is really convenient within the old town with a short walk to the centre. Hotel has a safe car park to the rear, which for us was essential. The owners and staff are really friendly and helpful. Hotel doesn’t have a restaurant but advised of an excellent one very nearby.

Nothing … just if you are driving, ask the hotel for the best route in as our satnav took us right through the middle of the town which was challenging. The hotel advised us of a different way out, which was straightforward.
