The breakfast was good and the restaurants for dinner was excellent too. Really cute room with plenty of space, and a very short walk from the main plaza and right by one of the tower gates into the city. Location couldn't be better. Very old building decorated in a really fun way.

After the first morning, I should have asked for the fruit and meat/cheese to be kept separate for breakfast (they are all put together on the same plate and wrapped). I'm not a vegetarian but the smell of cold cuts first thing in the morning is just not for me, and I didn't want to eat fruit that was wrapped up with it. That's the only thing I would change and that's getting pretty picky.

Very nice room quiet and comfortable. We have stayed here before and enjoyed it so much we decoded to return. Glad we did. Breakfast was outstanding and the hostess was very attentive to our every need.

The young man who showed us our to our room was not the most pleasant fellow. I am 80 years old and my wife is 75 years old. A little courtesy in deference to our age by offering to carry just one of our suitcases up the stairs would have been nice. Didn't happen. Here is your room and he was gone. Not great customer service.

Charming accomodation in a very good location in the town. The dinner and breakfast were excellent. Ample parking in the surrounding streets for those driving in.

Noise can travel from neighbouring rooms. We had booked the double bed economy which was a tight squeeze with 2x luggage and furnishings in the room.

The room had a character of it's own. Very artisticly done, which some people might feel overwhelming. Neat, clean and spacious room and bathroom too. Location is superb as every town attraction is at a walking distance. Breakfast was beautifully laid down for us. It was fresh and scrumptious and made our day special.

The reception area weren't so inviting for us. As we aren't used to seeing any hunt displayed in huge number as a decoration, we were skeptical about our stay. But maybe that is that other people like in this place.

This was our favorite stay in Germany. It has unique charm at every corner. The hotel staff treated us exceptionally well. We had a suite with a separate sitting room and enormous bathroom. The hotel has an old, like 18th century, inn character while the room was still luxurious and comfortable. Eat dinner at the hotel restaurant. It looked closed when we went for a walk. So we had a really nice meal while we were out. When we got back the vibe was so great, think medieval pub, we squeezed into a corner for some drinks. The food looked and smelled terrific and everyone was enjoying it. Breakfast was delicious and generous. It was served an another space with a slightly more recent country feel. Google maps lead us straight to the hotel. But, it was still a little hard to find in the dark. It is perhaps a 5 minute walk from the large parking outside the city wall. It is a short walk anywhere in the old town. Take some time to walk along the river as well. Enjoy it the town. Enjoy the hotel.

Centrally located in the lovely town of rothenburg. Very romantic looking building. Rooms are clean and comfortable on a quiet side street. Very quiet and pleasant place to sleep. Breakfast was exceptional. Very abundant and tasty fresh products. Lovely!

The style of the room is tailored mostly to an older audience. Not that it’s dated or anything. It’s great in a romantic style way. We personally prefer a more modern style though. But that was clear from the photos already, so not a negative point per se.

The place was so charming! The breakfast was amazing, the room was fantastic, and we had everything we needed. Great location and very friendly staff!

Since we came from out of the country we were not able to make the international call to let the host and hostess know we had arrived, that made checking in a bit challenging.

A completely different hotel to any others during our European roadtrip. Staff were great and the Weinstube is one of the most interesting places we have ever been to. Rothenburg Ob Der Tauer is a fabulous place to visit. Add it to your itinerary. Fabulous breakfasts with the breakfast buffet set out on your table and eaten by candlelight. Car parking s few minutes walk and €8 for the day.

Only negative would be the amount of stuffed creatures you share the hotel with.

Quite a good location with nice breakfast

The place is cluttered with so much stuff it’s difficult to move around the eating /dining areas and bedroom. Our room was up 2 x flights of stairs that were very tight and made getting our cases up and down to our room a very challenging task. Once in the room had to rearrange things to make space to store our luggage - no need and no value in having the rooms filled with unnecessary tables and chairs and ornaments

This stay was wonderful. Packed tight to the brim with eye candy. The rooms were quaint. It was quiet. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and we also enjoyed a dinner in the restaurant in the evening. About a 15-20 walk to the train station and very close to the museums and other points of interest.

It was a little hard to find someone for check in/checkout as they don’t have a traditional set up. It was manageable and not something that should date you from booking. :)
