I had the pleasure of staying at Gastehaus Goldenes Llamm in Rothenburg ob der Tauber from September 8th to 10th, 2024, and it was an exceptional experience. The room was beautifully appointed, with a rich dark wood design that contrasted perfectly with crisp white linens and elegant silver fixtures. The unique light sconces throughout the space added a charming and artistic touch. The hostess was very responsive and quick to answer any questions, which made the stay even more comfortable. The location is unbeatable—just a few blocks from the heart of downtown, making it incredibly convenient to explore local restaurants, shops, and the many historic attractions Rothenburg has to offer. Overall, I highly recommend Gastehaus Goldenes Llamm for anyone looking for a blend of comfort, style, and convenience in Rothenburg. I would definitely stay here again!

Stairs are a factor here. So if you have luggage be aware, you will be climbing 3 steps to the front door then a flight or two up to the rooms. But hey, what's a few stairs for this perfect stay 👌

Staying at the Gästehaus Goldenes Lamm was a delightful experience from start to finish. The warm hospitality, cozy ambiance, and attention to detail were truly remarkable. What stood out the most was their exceptional customer service. I accidentally left my earrings behind, but the staff promptly reached out and took the initiative to mail them back to me. Their kindness and dedication to ensuring a great experience even after my stay truly exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this Gästehaus not just for its charming atmosphere but also for their outstanding care for their guests' belongings.

The bathroom might feel compact for larger individuals, but for us, it was just right and equipped with everything you could require.

The beds were comfortable and location perfect! Coffee was also included which was nice

The mattress was made of two parts which was a little uncomfortable and the check in process was difficult since we missed the message but didn’t have wifi so had to find some in town for the check in code. it’s a great place but make sure to check your property messages before you arrive.

Everything about this accommodation lived up to the images online and my expectations. The decor was superb, ensuite was lovely.

I dislike self check ins. Wi fi in the courtyard would be helpful. Being historic, the city restricts accommodation when it comes to providing cooking facilities which is understandable but slightly disappointing

Location was perfect, everything in easy walking distance. As we had our own vehicle it was great to have on-site parking.The rooms were lovely- we were in a family group so required four rooms and they were all very comfortable with bathrooms en-suite. We were there just before Christmas and the house was beautifully decorated which we really appreciated-it was lovely.

Conveniently located, a short walk from the major attractions in Rothenburg. The rooms has everything you need, is well kept and clean.

Parking, as in most locations in Europe is a problem. There is a parking lot however not too far from the property.

Location was great--close to the Christmas Market, but on a quiet little street. The beds were VERY comfortable.

It would have been nice to have a microwave and refrigerator available. I couldn't help but notice that the toilet would be a tight fit for large people.

Such a cute place to stay for a few nights! So so close to the center of town, just a 5-10 minute walk to the town square. The entire area is beautiful. Close access to walk on the walls as well! The free tea and coffee were an added bonus!

It’s a lovely and cosy place with a warm host that will make you feel like at home. The place is decorated to give you a vibe of a Bavarian town (I had a room upstairs).

Internet could work a bit better but the host acknowledged that she will make sure it will be improved (and in sure it will! ;) )

Perfect spot, completely renovated little place. In the middle of the centre, close to restaurants, shops and breakfast places. Great sleepover while travelling to Austria to start your holiday early!

Booking.com mentioned there should be an electric car charger. After the booking we learned this was not the case. The owner showed us all the spots close by, driving us around. Tip: Arriving from Wurzburg recharge at Fastned 15 minutes before the town.
