The location is very good - just outside the walls but an easy walk in. Also close to the train station if you are travelling by train. Comfortable room with nice furnishings, easy check in (key safe) but staff were also there too when we stayed. Staff were friendly and helpful.

There was no shower curtain in the bathroom of our room so it was not possible to have a shower without getting the floor wet. I'm not sure if it is even possible to have a shower curtain due to the shape of the roof (our room was in the roof). This wasn't a major problem for us, but I'm just pointing it out! The shower itself was fine!

Room was the best of any we stayed in during our vacation to Germany and Austria. We stayed in five different hotels.

We arrived in the morning and were rudely advised check-in wasn't until later in the afternoon, which we were aware of. We only wanted to check our luggage since we were literally on the streets. The gentleman advised us as to where we could place our luggage. However, he later helped my wife carry her (heavy) suitcase up the stairs to our room. So, after an awkward start, our stay was very good and all service was friendly and helpful.

Hotel is easy to find on a main road into the town and only 3-4 minutes to one of the main town gates. Parking directly behind the hotel at 8 euro per day. A beautiful bedroom and amazing bathroom in a lovely old building (there's no lift but we were on the first floor and it wasn't an issue) - obviously a lot of effort has gone into renovating / modernising what is an old building. Extremely comfortable. We ate dinner in the hotel both days and the food was excellent with good service. Man who checked us in and served at dinner was very welcoming and informative. The restaurant / bar in the hotel seems to be popular with locals which was good to see - closes around 10ish so we didn't manage to get back in time to have a drink there

Breakfast was a bit disappointing as dinner had been so good - not a great selection.

It’s a good and well located hotel. The room is big enough for two people with a good shower and pretty clean. I wasn’t able to meet the hotel staff because on the day I arrived (Tue) there was no one there, but the host was very helpful and sent all the necessary information previously.

The hotel flor is made of wood, and unfortunately the guest that was hosted on the room above mine, decide to start packing their stuff to leave at 5am and keeping making noise until 7am. The floor in their room was extremely noisy, causing us trouble sleeping. I think this is something that the hotel cannot directly control, but unfortunately there are people who have no common sense towards others. The hotel’s breakfast was ok, but nothing special, the coffee itself was a bit cold.

The guesthouse was steps outside the old city walls and a much less expensive than staying inside the walls. It was quiet and quaint. Breakfast was plentiful. We would have liked to try dinner there, but our visit happened to fall on the nights the restaurant was closed. Parking was literally across the street in a small lot and free, although there are some spots you can pay for behind the guesthouse.

It is an old guesthouse, so there is no elevator for those who might need/prefer one. We were on the top floor (3rd floor U.S.) and were fine.

The location was also close to the station, 5 minutes, so I was able to get there without getting lost. I was also able to walk to the entrance of the old town in 5 minutes. There was also a supermarket within walking distance, so it was nice to be able to buy souvenirs. The staff were friendly, and even the staff who couldn't speak English used translation software to help me communicate with them, which made me very happy. As everyone said, there was so much to choose from for breakfast and it was so good. The food at the hotel restaurant was German and delicious. The room was a good combination of modern and vintage, and the bathtub was large and the water pressure was perfect. The whole my family enjoyed staying at this hotel.

As the hotel might be old, there is no lift. so it might be bit hard for some people.

Property was close to the entry of Rothenburg odT. Convenient to exactly what we wanted. Furniture was quaint and beds were very comfortable. Free parking across the street (less than a hundred yards). Steep stairs (easy for us, may be difficult for others). Walked into Rothenburg for breakfast bakery/coffee.

Directly above an active bar/restaurant which didn’t wind down until almost midnight. No staff, had to inquire with bar staff.

The hotel is in a excellent location! Across the street from the hotel is free parking. The parking lot is large and I had no issues finding a spot. The train station is a short walk away. The Old City Center is also a short walk away in a straight path so that you don't get lost. The walk is amazing since it takes you through the old city gate overlooking the moat. Since the hotel is just outside of the Old City, there are several restaurants to choose from. The restaurants in the Old City will fill up quickly and may require reservations for dinner.

For many Americans, the breakfast might be a little underwhelming, but we are just weird and like to have massive feasts in the morning.

Five min walk into the beautiful walled town. Check-in easy and parking either at rear of property (at a charge) or free public car park opposite. Breakfast extra but very nice selection and saved walking into town to find somewhere. Note:- staircase and no lift in property so may be a problem for some. Staff very friendly.

Street noise from party/goers in the early hours….. but we did stay here on a Friday night !

Excellent room - very warm and comfortable with nice large windows for light to come in. It was very clean and tidy with recent bathroom renovations. The black-out blinds were fantastic. Quaint gastropub stay and the restaurant downstairs served very good traditional foods. Short walk to both the train station (about 10mins), and into town to see the sights.

Nothing, it was excellent
