Old town location, you are 1 min from the restaurants and bars you probably want to try. 2 mins from the river. On the main.pedestrian street. 10 mins from the train station. Lovely room. Unusual that you have a key dispenser as this hotel is not manned 24/7

Because it was old town, there were evening and morning noises from bars and refuse trucks. Close the windows at night if you're not a heavy sleeper. Entry out of hours is via the back of the Hotel. That area needs to be made more pleasant to walk through, though you pass it in 10 seconds.

Comfy bed, clean rooms, very friendly staff at check-out. There was noise from the bar in the evening and I can see how it might bother some. They do warn in advance though which I really appreciated. I sleep through everything so I didn’t mind and slept like a baby

I had to turn the blanket sideways so it would cover my feet. Perks of traveling alone, though I suppose if you’re a couple you just crawl closer to each other ..:)

Very comfortable, homely hotel room with a really great location in the city centre of Saarbrücken.

The front desk is supposed to be open from 8-12, but (because of illness?) no one was available during this time. In the end it was fine though, as the hotel is mainly self-service.

I cannot rate the staff highly enough. The aesthetics and styling design of the rooms is quite cool. Great bar downstairs, and the location is excellent. Easy late check in, clear instructions, make sure you read your emails. This place is a little treasure.

Not really a negative, but to keep in mind for others. I didn’t mind it, but this hotel is in the middle of an entertainment precinct. So for some, it will be noisy on nights of soccer matches and weekends. Earplugs supplied however. But this is why you chose to stay here right? ☺️

I did not expect much. We just needed a place for the night, have a good rest. The hotel does not offer any food or bar service (at least not that I know of), but this is absolutely no issue, as the hotel is located in the heart of Saarbrücken, surrounded by a variety of restaurants and bars. The "staff-free" check-in was flawless and worked well. The rooms were clean and cosy.

The workers in the street near the hotel start really early, waking me up. But that is hardly the fault of the hotel :-)

The Hotel Fuchs is excellently located in Saarbrucken with a garage - parking facilities - less than two blocks away and a major town square in the immediate vicinity. There are at least two very nice restaurants very close: IU Saarbrucken and Gemmal. For a romantic dinner I recommend the latter. The hotel staff is very friendly and extremely helpful and do their utmost to make one feel welcome. We came here for a second time and have booked our next stay already as we will have reason to travel to Saarbrucken again late October.

Perfectly located right in the center and 2 mins from a big parking garage with even electric car charger. Loved the place and the vibe. We stayed during the week. Thursday- Sat they have a party terrace at at the hotel so could be very loud as it is a busy party street in the center. But during the week was perfect.

The location right in the centre by the market is exceptional. Everything is in walking distance. The building is quite old, therefore the rooms are not too large, but very comfy. Check- in and check-out more than simple. Will stay there eyerytime when in Saarbrücken.

everything. just a charming little boutique hotel in the heart of Saarbrücken. Feels like home and is super warm welcoming. The best you can get in town if you like it authentic, honest and real. So good look to catch a room. I made it twice in 5 years being quite frequently in Saarbrücken.

Spacious suite with a small kitchen, a terrace and a bedroom and bath.

Very steep stairs make it hard to carry luggage up and downstairs. Wifi signal was a little patchy.
