He spoke perfect English, explained everything clearly, later served us at the bar, gave dinner recommendations, and even provided an extra pillow and a small jug of milk for the room. Negatives: only one pillow per bed on arrival and no milk for tea making, although both were promptly sorted by reception. Air conditioning could have been stronger but even in late August at 30°C we slept well. Slightly unusual bathroom design with translucent glass panels and a sheer curtain which offers some privacy but still feels a little open. None of these points detracted from the stay And included for completeness

Good selection for breakfast. Standard hotel aimed at those in transit like ourselves, or working folk. The room was quiet. The hotel was not far from the Rathaus where we had supper. Car park was good and had interconnecting doors into the hotel. The map on the wall of the bedroom was a great aide and very useful.

Access on the day we stayed was difficult. There's building work and we sat in a traffic queue for ages before turing into the hotel and car park road.

Hotel is modern, functional, perfect set up of rooms, everything works, nicely decorated.

Breakfast can be improved. We came to breakfast around 9.00 am and quite some food was missing on self service bar without ( empty plates) being refilled. Also warm yogurt - standing close to food heather - and cold sausages were not eatable. Next door public parking is good but the instructions how to get discount rate are rather complicated.

This is a very clean and comfortable hotel located within 5 minute walk from the main train station. Everything is within walking distance. But the best part of this hotel is its employees. The receptionist was super helpful, patient, and knowledgeable, and everyone working there was so nice. We will definitely stay here again.

A perfect 4 star hotel, central location, tastefully decorated interiors and rooms, with a generous breakfast, but what really makes the place stand out is the naturally friendly and professional staff, at the reception Elisabeth answered all my questions immediately and made me feel at home.:) I would recommend it to anyone who visits Saarbrücken and I will definitely return next year.:))) Thanks a lot once again!!

Good location and parking in the adjacent multi-storey car park. We had bikes on the back of our car and left them on in the car park for the 2 nights. Light bar meals are available at night, a choice of 6 dishes, which is good if you don't feel like another restaurant meal. The room was comfortable, a good size and clean.

The one thing that should be addressed (other reviews have mentioned this as well) is the glass panel between the bathroom and sleeping area, so.if one person goes to the bathroom during the night, the bright light is dusturbs the other person. The solution would be simply to replace the very short decorative curtain to the side of the glass screen with a full-length curtain that can be pulled across if desired.

Breakfast was full. I would like filter coffee but there wasn t plus these coffee machines that nowadays every hotel uses, are a bit poorly serviced - coffee is extremely hot you burn yourself .. otherwise everything good.

There was only one staff member not smiling not very helpful or keen to help somewhat inpolite. Mey be she was stressed. A colleague of hers apologised on her behalf. We are all humans.. but reception people mandate to have these specific skills , not to say ‘ no ‘ straight away. Also please add food to facilities for the tired visitors who visit for work and are hungry! They will love the hotel more if some food can be offered. ( currently have 4 pasta options preprepaired but they run out from the one i choose so.. anyways that s for improvement

Breakfast was excellent with good choices, nice ambient and good quality. In general the hotel was is very well managed, clean and secure. I was particularly impressed with the front desk manager who went out of his way to be of service. In all a good choice of hotel for Saarbrücken, Germany.

The team were excellent, good breakfast but one of the two coffee machines was turned off with the explanation that there were not enough people having breakfast to turn on the second machine; the next morning there were twice the number and the machine was still off! Eggs were often lukewarm, but these are minor, overall this was a great place to stay - the bowl of chili was outstanding! Can't say enough about the hotel staff, always helpful.
