Great place for budget travelers! We had a small but well-equipped kitchen and a private bathroom, which were both clean. The room also came with a smart TV, so with a group of budgeting students, it was great to be able to cook dinner and use the streaming services at the end of the day. Very affordable rooms too.

The apartment itself is a bit old and run-down, but the room was clean so it didn't matter much. Took a bit to figure out check-in, as there wasn't really a reception desk or staff around, but just read your emails.

Good communication from the Ralf who messaged on the morning of our stay to advise how to gain access into the building. I enquired about free street parking and Ralf advised we were able to park between the hours of 10pm and 8am for free which was absolutely correct and we found this within a few minutes walk away from the apartment. A short walk into the centre where there is plenty of restaurants, shops and bars. Small packs of complimentary sweets left on pillows are always appreciated.

This apartment was situated within a residential area and the entrance to the building was being used by locals as a smoking area which wasn't pleasant for us being non smokers. Not the fault of our host but equally not a good first impression.

The size was lovely and cosy for one person and it was a very convenient location. The communication was very clear and good for getting into the apartment and also for leaving. The little kitchen was great because I could sort some simple meals in the room. Overall it had everything that I needed for my trip and I was really happy with the room.

The bedframe was a little squeaky but that's about it.

Clear instructions for entering, and very fast response from the host. We were slow in realizing we needed a garage for the car and the host solved my request superfast. Very comfortable to park the car in the same building, especially as we had so much luggage with us. Many restaurants and a supermarket close by. Centric location, perfect for a stopover. Really appreciated we could take the dog.

The room is relatively small for 4 persons, but that was no problem as we arrived late, went out to dinner nearby, walked around and then slept. Perfect stopover to charge the batteries!

Nice little apartment in very close proximity to the main station. You get helpful and timely check in instructions through Whatsapp. Some coffee/tea were available for us next to a welcome note with a personal touch. You have a smart TV with Netflix which was a great addition to our short stay. The kitchen has everything you need to cook a meal for yourself.

The room had two small beds instead of a big double bed. This was something we overlooked when we booked the apartment so not a fault of the listing but mentioning it here so that others will take note.

The host is very good and attentive. He helped us to make our stay meaningful and memorable. The apartment was very nice and comfortable too. Superbly clean and well organised. The WiFi connection was great and stable. The amenities were great and the drinks were excellent. Not to mention on the gift provided, appreciated. Highly recommended!

Met our needs and short notice, late booking. Staff very flexible - allowing for a much later checkout with a small fee. U dergriund parking available for small fee. Also, staff very responsive and quickly sent item left behind.

We didn’t realise that street parking required a special permit - so had to do coordination to arrange parking.

The room the bathroom all was very clean. I really loved how fluffy the pillows and the covers were. The room felt fresh and comfy. Very close to the city center. Getting in and out was easy. The host was communicative.

Not necessarily a dislike but if the curtains in the shower could be replaced with panels it would feel much more elegant. Maybe an idea for when its renovated.

It was in a very convenient part of Saarbrücken. The little apartment had everything I needed.

The building the apartment was in had some seemingly unsavory people staying there. I felt safe once in my apartment but maybe not the best option for a woman traveling alone.

Very clean, easy self-check-in, very close to the city centre and very good value for money - cooking something up yourself is also possible. Facilities were clean.

This isn’t something to blame on the service provide but something to be aware of: Since there are a lot of bars in that part of town and many students live there, it can get pretty loud on the weekends / the evenings.
