-Do not understand complains about the self check in, it was really easy to find a box and instructions were clear. - Nice location and we had a room partially with a lake view. - The room was clean with nice furniture. - The sauna zone is amazing! - Nice European breakfast. - A lot of parking spots. We checked in at 9 pm and found a nice spot. - Location is great and about 4 minutes on foot to the beach. - The hotel is pet friendly and the room was without damages.

- They do not answer on booking frequently. I only received an automatic confirmation. So it’s better to write using WhatsApp or email. In this case they respond really quickly. - Check out time is too early in my opinion.

I had a really pleasant stay here. The hotel is in a stunning location right next to the lake – peaceful, scenic, and perfect for a relaxing break. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. It’s a self-check-in setup with no staff on-site, but the process was straightforward and hassle-free. Everything was clearly explained and easy to follow. Overall, a really nice place to stay, especially if you’re after a bit of peace and quiet. Would definitely stay again and recommend it to others.

The Maximilian hotel is located in a picturesque, very touristic but cosy and quiet area. The room was vith a mountain view. The room service and "what-you can eat-breakfast" were perfect and amazing!

The barely warm water on Sunday was a bit surprising, but maybe i didn't know the traditions 😅

Very spacious private bathroom and comfortable bedroom. Close to the lake and away from traffic noise. Breakfast can be eaten in the conservatory, which has great views onto the lake and hills.

Hotel is understaffed. Only one person responsible for the whole breakfast buffet. No reception.

Perfect location (short and easy walk to the lake and center of town), spacious room (#2 Romantic) with a balcony and lovely view of the lake and mountains. Breakfast was sumptuous which we could take in the glass-walled terrace 🤗 Loved the pond🤗

The bathroom could be modernized especially the tap in the shower.

The location is beautiful! Nice clean hotel, super comfortable and fluffy blankets.

The check-in instructions were sent in German only and were confusing to me. When I contacted the property I got automated messages. Luckily, some other guest helped. Also, kitchen personnel (who served breakfast) could be a little more friendly.

Very nice continental breakfast. Convenient location for going into mountains, sightseeing and going to Austria or Munich. Nice clean spacious rooms.

Heating was a bit temperamental. Could do with coffee/tea making facilities in the rooms, otherwise no complaints

Das Maximillian is a really lovely place to stay. Good parking round the back for our motorbikes with quick and easy remote check in so no hassle whatsoever. It's a short walk to the water's edge and the town with lots of places to eat. There's a nice garden with a pond that you can swim in but we were only there overnight. The breakfast was very good with lots of choice. The room was very large with a huge balcony looking towards the water which was a bonus. Plenty of room for all of our motorbike gear so we could spread out.
