We chose it because it had parking (although there is a daily charge). We booked a standard room which was a decent size. The bed (king size) was very comfy and so we slept very well. The bathroom is a decent size with large walk in shower and toiletries provided. The hotel has a nice bar and lovely outside terrace. Staff all speak English and were pleasant and helpful.

Our view was of the inner courtyard so nothing to look at so to speak, but perhaps for this reason we found it to be incredibly quiet. No fridge which would have been really helpful for keeping drinks chilled in the hot weather. Would have preferred milk sachets to powder and more black tea! We chose the option to not have the room cleaned (environmental initiative) but it doesn't make sense that you then don't get clean mugs or a restock of supplies.

The Dorint provided our family of four with a wonderful stay in Wuerzburg. Check-in was easy and the rooms were exactly as promised. Though we have visited many hotels, my daughter claimed that the bed was one of the most comfortable she'd slept on. The bathrooms were clean and nicely decorated. The breakfast was tasty with lots of dishes for everyone to enjoy. We were able to park our car and walk to all attractions, which was perfect.

Though our vehicle is not huge, the tiefgarage had some extraordinarily tight turns making the parking a hair-raising experience. We managed, however, and it is nice to have parking on site.

Only ten minutes walk from the centre, this feels like a top class hotel, the place is immaculate with friendly efficient staff, our room was excellent too. The town is so well worth the short walk with great views of the castle from the river bridge which was crammed with visitors, all enjoying the evening, a lovely experience.

We parked our motorcycle in the garage and expected to pay, but the charge for one night was 24 euros which was excessive, we were not told the cost when booking which may have altered our decision to use the garage, the area appears to be safe and in hindsight I would have left the bike parked in the street.

Good location, not far to walk into centre. They had underground parking. I had a motorcycle. It was secure parking but quite expensive for 1 night (I think 18 or even 24 euros?). If I went again I would just park bike nearby as fee was a bit excessive for motorcycle. The bar and restaraunt at the hotel was nice to have. My room was great, very clean, modern, everything worked as it should and bed was very comfortable. I don’t know Würzburg but it was perfect for a one night stop-over and I was able to walk into the old city and enjoy the beauty.

Parking charge for motorcycle was a bit much. I should have checked before I agreed. I assumed it would be less so not their fault but just be aware.

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised by the Dorint Würzburg. The hotel offers on-site parking and it is an easy walk to the historic center of town, the Bishop's Residence and other landmarks. We left the car in the garage for the two days of our stay. The hotel is on a quiet side street. The breakfast buffet is ample and has some unexpected extras like pretzel rolls and several different kinds of yogurt, the server also offers to cook eggs to order. Our room was good-sized and comfortable. And the price was reasonable.

Only two things bothered me: first, the parking. If you have a good-sized car (and we do, a Volvo cross), entering the underground garage is a challenge. It's a very tight fit. You have to go down two levels. But the parking spaces are reasonably sized and the exit is much less stressful. Parking costs extra but it's not an exorbitant 24-hour fee. The second thing that bothered me was the duvet on the bed, which I suspect was filled with polyester, thus it was too hot for me. Pillows were fine.

Very friendly waitperson, when our group had dinner. Meal was ok, not remarkable. More fresh vegetables please, more color on the plating.

Front desk person at first ignored me as she sat at her desk just off of the reception area, she helped me (I am an older woman), after she assisted a man who walked up later than me. When i asked if she could change some Euros to smaller amounts she seemed annoyed, but did help me with my request. Everyone has bad days, but this slight stood out from the way i was treated at check in, which was very professional.

Connecting doors between rooms meant that the sound-proofing was poor. Our next door residents decided to have a really noisy late-night party and eventually we had to ask the reception guy to come up and speak to them - which he did and they did quieten down - but this could have been avoided if there had been an option of no inter-connecting door. Also, the dining facilities weren't great - but the hotel is very central so it wasn't hard to find somewhere else to eat.

After some problems I had experienced last night, I booked this hotel for another night as this was the only hotel I could find that offered check out until 12. In some hotels, they are looking to kick you out before 10 am. I was grieted by a professional, pleasant young gentleman on the reception. I spoke to him about my problems last night. He did find a room in an inner courtyard for me. That was a good choice. It was quiet, warm, and good overall.

Room was comfortable with a comfortable bed. The staff was friendly and understood and spoke English. They helped our queries and called taxi for us and let us leave luggage. Common place bathroom available and clean. They helped us with ice we needed for medical reasons.

Room was very small. There was no fridge in the room. Bathroom was very very small. Messages sent to them prior to arrival was only selectively answered.

We had a great experience at Dorint Hotel. Traveling from the Netherlands to Croatia, we needed a comfortable stopover with a convenient location — and this place was exactly what we were looking for. The room was spotless, the facilities were well-maintained, and everything worked perfectly. The location was ideal, just a short walk from the city center.
