1) the pre-stay communication by Thanos and Anna was swift and spot on in answering the precise queries we had. This put our mind at great ease. 2) The apartment itself was well equipped with comfortable bedding, thick pile towels and a thermostat that was very precise. This allowed us to set it at a comfortable temperature at night and it worked like a dream. 3) The location itself is, in my opinion, perfect. It provides a peaceful residential feeling yet be a stones throw away from all the action. Acropolis is literally a 7 minute walk away from the apartment. Both acropolis and syngrou fix stations are also around 5-10 minute walk from the apartment. We walked to Syngrou Fix when travelling from the apartment by Metro (as down hill) and returned to Acropolis station( uphill from the apartment) when returning to the apartment by Metro. Also a perfect location if booking a 8 am entrance to the acropolis. 4) lastly, all of us, including the kids, were in absolute awe when we went up to the terrace and had a breathtaking view of the Acropolis. ( only recommend it at night, especially during the summer). Downside. The main disappointment was that I had entered the appropriate ages of my children on booking.com but it had pulled through both ages as 0. This initially resulted in a reduced cost, but then when it was clear that my children are not babies, I had to pay extra. So please double check before confirming your reservation. The other downside was that the studio was perhaps a little small for 4 people l. But I guess that's expected when booking a studio.

Location, very clean and friendly staff.

We had a great stay in Athens at the Acro Urban Suites there can’t be many hotels closer to the Acropolis and the views from the terrace are fantastic. The room was exactly what we required for our family of 4, very clean and comfortable. Thanos on reception was a great host, he gave us excellent recommendations for things to do and places to eat plus gave great advice on how to get around. He was a very welcoming to all of my family and a credit to both Athens and the apartments, nothing was too much trouble. We made use of the breakfast service, which made life much easier, and we ate it on the terrace. We also ate at the Thomas taverna and the Kalamaki bar both served excellent food; especially the Kalamaki bar. I would definitely recommend Acro Urban Suites and if we visit Athens again we would stay here.

The room was very comfortable, with a mini kitchen and a really comfortable couch. After traveling for awhile, many places don’t have a comfortable seating area or couch so it was a luxury. The staff was helpful and friendly. They set up a hair appointment at a local salon for me, which I was very happy with. You can also order breakfast delivered to the room if you want…which I didn’t partake because it was a bit expensive but a nice perk if needed. The view from the rooftop was amazing! I went up every day to enjoy. The little reception area was comfortable and cute. They also had multiple recommendations for places to eat, most I frequently went to. I will say for anyone staying..the prices for food are much cheaper in the area around the hotel than in the major tourist hubs and the food is good. The location is perfect because you are right next to Plaka and the acropolis. I walked all over the major city sites from the hotel. They have staff in the front most of the day, which is nice. Great boutique hotel. I will definitely book this hotel again if I come back Athens.

There wasn’t a ton of natural light in my apartment and the lighting was rather dim. I like a lot of light so would have liked better lighting. Other than that it was all good.

We arrived early and Thanos assisted in storing our luggage and helping us on our way before check-in. Seeing the acropolis at night from the rooftop terrace is amazing! The suite was very large and we also had a balcony. The building is in a residential area which was very nice with a small market and a couple of good restaurants nearby. Our room was serviced during our short stay and the bed was comfortable. Staff also made sure that our taxi arrived upon departure. Very attentive and responsive!

The bed is on a platform in the corner so one can't walk around it or have a table beside. That was the only thing we didn't like.

Everything. The location was perfect. A really peaceful neighborhood with a plethora of cafes, bars, restaurants and shops all within about 5 to 15 minutes walk and then the main tourist areas of Athens; the Plaka and Monastaraki are about 20 minutes walk away. The accommodation is really well appointed and if you're in one of the apartments with a balcony looking over towards the Acropolis it's just great; especially in the evening as the sun sets and the illuminations light up the area.

This is not a dislike it is just a point for note that the bed in our apartment (302) although really comfortable was a bit awkward to get in and out of as it is on a raised platform which for those of us who are young at heart but not necessarily young in the body was a little challenging 😉😉 If you look at pictures of some of the other rooms they have standard beds. It in no way spoiled our stay

We loved the location, the large rooms, beds were super comfortable and the rooftop terrace view is a treat!!! There are many places to eat that are more local rather than high tourist spots. We walked everywhere with 4 young kids in summer. Mini marts are a plenty! Walk to the Acropolis, plaka and monostoraki. The staff also are just as wonderful with them being like family throughout the stay. Thank you Kate, Thanos and Anna! We loved our stay.

Its location was fantastic, the view of the Acropolis was spectacular, and the room was extremely clean. The hotel is near multiple Metro stations and a bus stop, very near the Acropolis, and there are also lots of great restaurants and cafes in the area, including restaurants that are open late. The area is also residential and very quiet. The staff was very responsive and helpful in all communications and with all of our requests. They also provided us with an upgrade, which made our family’s first trip to Athens even more magical. For the price, our stay exceeded our expectations. I would highly recommend Acro Urban Suites.

I highly recommend this beautiful little studio!! My wife and I very much enjoyed the location and amenities of this property. It was just a short walk to lots of attractions, restaurants and shopping, yet very quite at night. Beautiful rooftop spot where you can bring food and enjoy a lovely view of the Acropolis. Everything in the apartment felt new. The bed was comfortable, good shower pressure with plenty of hot water, little kitchenette for heating up leftovers or making something simple. The staff were very friendly especially the woman at the front desk. She was so pleasant, friendly and helpful with lots of recommendations for restaurants and attractions.

Acro Urban Suites was such a delightful surprise. We travel to Athens usually every year, and the hotel where we had been staying became too expensive. So, we thought we would try out the nearby Acro Urban Suites. We now have a new favorite place to stay in Athens! For a very reasonable price, we had a huge room with a kitchenette, table and chairs, large bathroom, and comfortable bed. But the best part was the huge roof deck available to guests. It had a beautiful view of the Acropolis, and we ordered breakfast to be delivered most mornings and took it up to the roof deck to enjoy it. There were tables and chair there, and several guests were up there in the evenings enjoying a glass of wine and gazing at the view. Because the hotel is very small, the roof deck is never too crowded. And the location is fabulous--walking distance to the Acropolis Museum and Acropolis and to two Metro stops. This place is a gem!
