bar and restaurant were limited on menus especially the quality of special drinks ie cocktails, please not a champagne cocktail is not a prosecco aperol spritser, please look up the correct drink if your going to charge 25eu for it, both bars had a poor selection for anything but std drinks

The view from our balcony was excellent. The short walk to the meeting place for our walking tour of the Acropolis was short and enjoyable. The neighborhood was clean and safe. Spyros and Natasa at the front desk were informative and helpful. Our bellman was very friendly. The rooftop restaurant had a gorgeous view and the crab ravioli was delish.

One evening at the rooftop a large group arrived after we did. It was just me and my husband. We kind of got pushed to the back of the line servicewise. The server was working very hard. We noticed the manager ignored us and did nothing to help his staff. He was grumpy while checking us in.

Nice hotel, very close to Acropolis, walking distance to old city and centre, so satisfied with the location. Hotel has a nice roof with restaurant, nice view of Acropolis at the roof, but do not expect that much great view of Acropolis from rooms, usual balcony with limited view, this is just for information because before booking we couldnt find informative photos of the "Acropolis view room", just do not book with great expectations, otherwise hotel has quality and great staff. I recommend the hotel.

This was our second time staying here and again it was wonderful. Natasha on the front desk was so helpful in making sure everything was taken care of. Our room was spacious and quite with a wonderful view of the Acropolis as a bonus. The included breakfast was a great way to start the day with the staff looking after us very well. We couldn't fault all the staff at the hotel. We were able to walk to most parts of Athens that we wanted to see.

Rooftop restaurant is exceptional with view of the acropolis. Very clean and comfortable common areas. Swimming pool is refreshing. Front of house staff very helpful and friendly.

We had requested a baby cot, but had a fold-away adult bed in the room instead. Staff on reception happy to help. The cleaning staff attitude when replaced it, was like we'd done something wrong. They didn't put the mattress in the cot , we had to ask for that, and again the attitude was not appropriate. Maybe they had a bad day.

The highest point of this hotel is the roof top restaurant . Amazing views of the Acropolis and the rest of the city , incredible food and wines and last but not least very professional staff taking care of every table . The room that was assigned to us had a great view from the balcony but in my personal opinion needs an update to a more contemporary style specially the bathroom

Complimentary Water in the room were 2 small carton bottles which was not enough for 2 people and extra bottle costs 7 euro .

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. From the front desk,to bellmen doormen, room service, even the lady who cleaned my room was very kind and thorough. The rooftop bar was fantastic and the staff there was awesome. Rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. They helped with directions, taxis, dining suggestions, everything. Price was extremely reasonable for the quality of the hotel. I will stay there again and recommend it to others.

Only downside is I saw no bars and restaurants nearby. Had to taxi everywhere. I would have liked being in the middle of things a little more. I like being able to walk out and have bars and restaurants right there, not 10-15 minutes walking distance. .

Location could not be any better. Rooftop was majical and the room was what I expected.

The breakfast was below standard and the waitress's were young kids with no hospitality desire. Felt very unconfortable asking for anything through them and it took for ever. They were not engaging in the least bit. Also there were no irons in the rooms. They were promt to bring them to you however, you had a half hour to use it. Housekeeping was on the ball.

The valet team and the restaurant upstairs was excellent The hostess was absolutely lovely

I spent one night at the hotel and when we went to shower for dinner the shower gel was empty The we go upstairs and someone canceled the reservation that was made upstairs Not sure what was above 520 but heard heals all night on the ceiling plus the room was listed as a view of the acropolis but the only view was when you leaned over the balcony and looked to your right

The Divani Palace Acropolis is our home away from home and there are many who are responsible for the five star rating. Let’s begin with the bellhops who are friendly and considerate. They provide suggestions and make arrangements for transfers and recommendations at new destinations. The bar has an excellent menu and may be enjoyed by the pool. It is attended by Giorgio, he is truly an asset to the hotel. He is always smiling, greets you warmly making guests feel special and better than at home. Also, the pool lifeguard maintains the area in top shape, always helping the guests by answering questions and truly tries to maintain a relaxed and respectful atmosphere for the enjoyment of all the guests. The breakfast crew is exceptional, accommodating, friendly and so very helpful. Special mention to the Captain Enislidi Stavroula who makes sure guests are assisted promptly. I truly enjoyed my daily coffee in the restaurant, it was welcoming, relaxing and a delicious option not to be missed. The Acropolis Secret was outstanding, Sortiris and his crew, unbelievably kind, charming and consistently delivering exceptional service. He remembered that we loved the chocolate eclairs last year and made it possible for us to enjoy them again although they are not in the current dinner menu. It is this attention to detail that compelled us to dine thrice at the roof top restaurant. Kudos to the excellent laundry services and housekeeping staff that kept everything clean and fresh. Imagine our joy to return to a clean room, crisp linen and freshly pressed clothing after long hot days of excursions. The Divani Palace Acropolis transports you to a gentler time with their marble floors, expansive lobby area, works of art, and ancient ruins just below their floors. Also, enjoy resting your eyes on the Acropolis from your balcony each night. We had a wonderful time at Divani Palace Acropolis and it is our hope to return and see everyone again.

In contrast, some of the reception desk staff (with the exception of Iriny who is a gem, consistently smiling, helpful, a treasure) are inattentive of the guests who are patiently waiting to be helped, do not make eye contact or acknowledge guest presence and when they are finally helping them, there is rarely a smile. The pool area would be greatly improved if the perimeter was designated a non smoking area for families and children to enjoy. Also, if children still in diapers would not be allowed in the pool.
