We were very happy we decided to stay here! Koukaki is a great area with leafy trees, lots of restaurants and shops and the accommodation is perfectly located. It's also very close to the Acropolis but much quieter than right near the Acropolis. Everything was very easy from catching the metro from the airport to picking up our room keys. Instructions were very clear and helpful. The building is safe and secure and also has a washing machine and dryer that guests can use free of charge. That was really convenient for us as Athens was the last stop of our trip and we could easily wash a few items before a long journey home. Yannis, one of the staff was very friendly and happy to provide recommendations. Hr even shared some of the cheese he had just bought which can only be found in speciality shops in Koukaki. We were also sent a long list as part of our welcome to the accommodation. Loved our time in Athens because it's an amazing city with our experience there made even better by staying here in Koukaki.

The location's accessibility to the Acropolis and older sections of Athens we visited, the property was perfectly situated. Even the ground floor unit which we occupied was very quiet, well-appointed for our needs and 3-day stay. There are some amazing hidden culinary gems within short walking distance. There was sufficient water and water pressure for a long shower after getting off the plane from a +12 hour flight. Bathroom was very clean It was a splendid visit. The back patio garden was clean and secure with a retractable awning, perfect for hanging clothes to dry. I'd stay here again, given the opportunity to return to Athens!

The only noise issue is the heavy security gate on the ground level has a very strong spring, and numerous departing guests lacked the courtesy to 'quietly' ensure its closure but rather let the door slam.

Hotel location is great. Close to (walking uphill for 6-8 mins) to acropolis and lots of restaurants and shop nearby. I like the room decor. the beds are comfortable and the kitchen are reasonable equipped. The hotels are responsive. We checked in early and they made the rooms available for us.

The cleaning lady is RUDE. I understand she might not speak English, but she multiple times gave us the hand gesture to show her frustration when we request for things. She rolled her eyes when we told her we are not ready to check out at 9AM in the last day. Considering the room is only cleaned every 3 days, I don't know why she is so mad all the time. The shower does not seem work very well. We booked two rooms. in both rooms, the hot water run out quickly (usually after 2 showers). It's frustrating to have a cold shower after a long day. The host tried to help to address the problem, but both rooms experienced the same problem for 3 out of 4 days unfortunately.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Great Living Koukaki. The apartment was clean, spacious, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The self check-in and check-out process was seamless, and the available lockers were especially convenient for early arrivals or storing luggage on the day of departure. The shared washing machine and dryer on the ground floor were a welcome addition, particularly for longer stays. The location is excellent—just a 10-minute leisurely walk to the Acropolis and about 20 minutes to Monastiraki. There are plenty of nearby amenities, including cafés, restaurants, and a pharmacy. Highly recommended.

Our top floor apartment was very comfortable and just like the photos. Good shower, although the bathroom was a little cramped. Good WiFi. Fantastic to have a washing machine on the ground floor that guests could use after 4PM. Unlike other apartments we had stayed in, a good supply of coffee pods. The apartment was serviced every three days, with cleaning and a change of linen and towels. Lift available so no lugging suitcases up stairs. Great balcony, although we were out being tourists nearly all the time and so didn't make much use of it. Good area, close to the Acropolis Museum, and plenty of options for restaurants within a few minutes walk. The hosts arranged a taxi from the airport for us, and gave good directions on how to access the building and the apartment, and had a person there when we arrived in case there were any difficulties. They also supplied us with lots of info on recommended restaurants and location of supermarkets etc. At check out, we had a few hours til our flight, and it was great that they provide lockers in the foyer for us to leave our luggage until it was time to head back to the airport.

The apartment was smaller than i had expected. Stated as 50 sq metres, but I think that must include the generous balcony. The bedroom had only one spot to put for a suitcase (on top of a cabinet that had just one large drawer, and with a hanging rack above for shirts and jackets), and no other storage space. Our other suitcase had to stay in the living room.

The location was perfect, around 7 min walk from Acropolis, and the neighborhood has some vibrant restaurants, cafes, and minimarts. The staff was super friendly, the communication via WhatsApp was seamless. The rooms were big, the kitchen had all the cutlery and utensils we needed for our 4-member family, and the bed was super comfortable.

The bathroom lock was not functional the first day, but it was fixed within a few hours on sharing about this problem via WhatsApp.

Everything was perfect!! The apartment is extremely clean, spotless!! The beds are so comfortable. i wish i had like these at home. The bathroom is big, and the shower stream is strong. There is a washing machine and a dryer in the building that we could use. The location is very good, 5 min from the acropolis, and 2 min from the metro station and all the restaurants, also, not very far from ermou Street The owner (i think) was vey nice and welcoming. I'm sure i will be back there next time in athens.

I stayed in 7 hotels during my trip throughout Europe and this hotel was the best i stayed in so far, the staff are super nice, informative and helpful, especially Yanni, the facility is amazing, just amazing! Brand new apartments with washing cloth facility which helped me a lot, upon checking in I received an email with restaurants names in the area, activities, and a lot more information I also got an upgrade to a 1BR instead of a studio which was a very pleasant surprise, and got a complimentary wine bottle too :) I had an amazing balcony with beautiful view and some plants in it, with a table and two seats I loved it. Very decent neighborhood, supermarket, fruits and vegetables market, pharmacy and hair salon were all a few steps away and everyone I met was so nice and friendly, there is also an amazing bakery that sells the best orange cake i have ever had, among other cakes too, I went there at least 4 times! There was also a breakfast joint behind the hotel where I enjoyed my eggs and coffee in those lazy days! Acropolis was also 10 minutes walk, there was also few authentic Greek Restaurants next to me with some fantastic food to try. Metro station was 2 min walk, bus station was 1 minute walk, and main road was just 4 minutes walk I loved Athens and I will be back very very soon and will only stay at the same hotel.

Absolutely Nothing

Kosta and Yannis are very kind and helpful! The transfers and check in were seamless and the Apartment was very tastefully appointed. Good toiletries, excellent linen and comfortable beds :)

Everything was great. If I were to really make some observations, not that we didn't like it, but the bathroom is slightly on the smaller side but that was not terribly uncomfortable. And the walls are very thin, so you tend to hear noises from the outside or even within the apartment. But that's something g to just set your expectation around, the beds and linens were excellent!

Modern apartments and well-located. Everything is newly renovated and great decoration. They have laundry machines. It is walking distance to the Acropolis. check in and check out was super easy.

I booked a basic apartment and thought that the bathroom was a bit small. We were 4 in a one-bedroom and that may have been my mistake but it was hard to even turn inside to get to the shower. Also, the elevator is WAY to sensitive. Any slight pushing too hard and it broke down. This hotel is NOT for people with limited mobility (wheelchair). People who are still mobile (walking) may be able to ask for a lower level apartment but be sure to make it clear.
