The location was really great, very close to the Acropolis, restaurants and a grocery store. We had a great view of the Acropolis from our room! The room is very spacious and modern. The bathroom was also a nice size. Marina, who manages the property is very friendly and helpful. There is an elevator which we appreciated since we had luggage.

Parking is a huge issue. I don't feel that Urban Stripes should say there is parking near because that isn't really true. We found a parking garage on our own (which ended up being one that they suggest) but in the end, we were ripped off by the garage owner.

Everything was ideal for us. The room was big, modern, spotless and had everything we needed, good shower, facilities etc. The location was perfect as well, it’s marginally outside the very touristy area which gives it a relaxed vibe and access to smaller less commercial bars and restaurants as well as supermarkets etc. That said, it’s less than five minutes from the Acropolis and main shopping area. The area also felt very safe during the day and night, and was always busy. Very close to the metro as well. Finally, Alex could not have been more helpful. He went above and beyond in every regard and provided an exceptional service, for which he deserves huge credit.

The apartment was beautifully appointed and very spacious for our family of five. Our host, Marina, was super kind and helpful. She provided our wonderful breakfast boxes the day before due to our early morning departure and even gave us a complimentary bottle of wine which we enjoyed upon arrival! I The location was perfect, walkable to everything. I wish we could have stayed longer!

Location and hosts were exceptional. We got a lot of useful tips what to visit including restaurants and bars which we did and they were awesome. The location was very convenient, we were close to everything so it was very comfortable for our stay.

We had probably too high expectations for the breakfasts, however they were totally fine for the price. The warm breakfast was warm just once in four days - but was edible anyway. Also the room looked bigger in the pictures, but wasn't small at all.

What a dream to wake up and have coffee overlooking the Acropolis (we had booked the Acropolis view room). Brilliant location in walking distance of all major areas in Athens but also tucked away from the busyness of Athens. Spotlessly clean. It had all the amenities to make our stay comfortable- there were even spices and a recipe book.

I genuinely loved this place. Will return here every time I go to Athens.

Very pleasant stay, I definitely recommend it. Great communication with the host, clear instructions for self check-in, as we arrived late on a Sunday night. Great tips on what to visit and how to get there on a map they offer you. Great view over the Acropolis, especially at night when the site gets illuminated. Very nice neighborhood and safe for parking your car, in case you need it. Very clean with nice breakfast served in the room Close to the Acropolis - 10 minutes walk, close to city center and surroundings

This property has an amazing view of the acropolis from the balcony and living room. It is very large, clean and well equipped with 2 bathrooms, plenty of storage, washing machine, full kitchen and a beautiful wine rack full of wine that you can buy. There is a great guide explaining each wine too. Check in was great, the lady was so friendly and helpful. The neighbourhood is perfect - our favourite one of those close to the acropolis. You can easily walk to everywhere, the acropolis museum is 5 mins away, alongside the metro and a great stroll into plaka. The actual neighbourhood had a really great vibe - very much lived in by Athenians with great bakeries, clean supermarkets, plenty of restaurants and delicious fresh fruit juice makers all 1 minute walk from the front door.

We couldn’t get the hot water working despite following instructions but it was so hot we were ok with cold showers. We didn’t contact reception who I’m sure would have sorted it.

We had to book a hotel fast because our trip to an island was postponed for a day. The hotel stuff were super kind answering my calls early in the morning. They also prepared our room earlier and we could check in sooner. The views to akropolis are breathtaking. Really well organised,clean facilities.

The facility states that parking is included, however we had to park outside at the street. We were lucky because many locals are off to holiday and found a spot just in front of the hotel, however I don’t know if that would be the same any other time of the year. There were also many mosquitoes so we had to keep the doors and windows closed.

Maria was very helpful when we arrived. She gave us a great map and lots of information on walking options for us. The lights of the Parthenon were amazing at night. It was a great location for what we needed. Also, Maria helped arrange a great taxi for us. The breakfasts were plentiful and tasty. Oh, and we liked the Jellies!

The small bed in the room (I think it was a roll-a-way) wasn't very comfortable for my very tall 20-something son. But it worked very well.
