The location was perfect- 10 minute walk to main square with shops and restaurants (lots of coffee shops, bars and restaurants closer than this). 7 minute walk to metro (great for the airport). Recommend this rather than a taxi. 9 euros to the airport. Breakfast was great- also access to coffee and water during the day/evening in reception. Reception friendly and helpful- stored our bags there prior to our flight.

I think due to the location you can hear street noise for example church bells ringing from 7am. However, totally expected to hear this due to the central location.

Very friendly and helpfull personel, room very clean. With a good pillow(somehow a rarety in most hotels) Beds were good, facilities in the room perfect. Breakfast small, but good enough. In 5 minutes to the main street, 2 minutes from the market en 10 minutes from the metro to the airport.

Surroundings dont match the young hotel, look like you are in a bad neighborhood, but you are not. But very safe, no strange people. Buildings just need to be reworked.

Very friendly and helpful staff with excellent communication before arrival and during our stay. The view from our room was a bit underwhelming and the balcony was very narrow. Nevertheless, the room itself is very clean, modern and comfortable and included a coffee machine with unlimited capsules and free bottled water. The shower was very clean and quite spacious. The location is perfect, very close to the main shopping roads and countless alleys with taverns and local shops. We had a great stay and would recommend to anyone.

Hotel located few steps from basically everything: need a restaurant, no problem 400m away, a pub sure thing 400m away. Akropolis is a walking distance too. Just left the hotel and you will see the most iconic place top of the hill. I’m working in hospitality industry for more than 14 years and I have to say that Arcade Hotel is exceptional: very clean with a friendly staff. Breakfast buffet offers everything to start our day and when we needed breakfast to go it was packed for us the next morning. Room is simply but with all facilities: full size hairdryer, hangers, nice fluffy towels, coffee machine, safe and still water provided in a daily basis. Thank you for having us. It was a pleasure time!

We stayed at the Arcade Hotel for 4 days during our honeymoon. The staff were very kind and helpful, and they were kind enough to offer us an upgrade of the room. We stayed at the terrace suite, which has a beautiful view of the Acropolis, and the room was super cozy and comfortable. The breakfast is nice and the hotel is very clean, seems fairly new. The location was also great, as the hotel is close to all main attractions in the city. Definitely would recommend!

Modern facilities. Terrific shower and room ambience. Extremely comfortable bed and perfectly plush pillows (I usually have pillow problems at hotels.) the location is ideal and can’t get any better.

Strange buzzing noise every 15 minutes or so, quite possibly from the fridge or AC water hose, or just general plumbing. I was able to mask it with my phones sleep-sounds. Taxis aren’t able to drop you off or pick you up right at the entrance, so on a hot summer day with two suitcases and and kids to worry about, you’re gonna sweat heavily by the time you get to the entrance (or reach your taxi.)

The city market is just on the corner, so this is not the most premium location, but it is very central and we felt safe. The view is great only from the roof apartment, there you have a terrace and see Acropolis. All was neat and clean, rather small, but still comfortable. The breakfast is not rich, nonetheless you have everything one may wish. Tasty local pie, fresh bread, boiled eggs, fruits, vegetables, greek yogurt, honey and musli. There are gluten free options, coffee was good nespresso. You have nespresso in the room, too. Water and coffee in the reception is available all day long.

I have to start with Chrisanthi who was always smiling and very friendly. She helped us with everything and staff is the most important aspect that we care during our stays. The room was very spacious and the bed was so big and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Cleanliness was at the highest. I have been to Athens many times and I can say that this was the most comfortable stay of all.

The shower could have a cabin door so the water would not go in the bathroom. And nothing else.

Excellent location, convenient to the Plaka but a bit quieter. Easy walking distance to anything most people want to see in Athens and close-ish to subway for things further afield or the airport train. Lots of great food nearby as well. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast served over a longer period than many hotels which is nice when you're fighting off jetlag and want to sleep in a bit.

Hotel is not the easiest to find at first glance after dark as they really need a lit up sign outside the courtyard. My room was on the reception floor and the soundproofing (as in many greek buildings) is not great so I was woken up a few times in the night or earlier in the morning than I would have liked. (If possible get one of the rooms on a higher floor.)
