The owner was friendly and met us even though our flight was delayed and it was late. They cleaned the room during our stay (although we didn't want the sheets changed). The location is excellent. The apartment was very clean. It was mozzie season and we found the anti-mosquito plugs in the room, although a little late. There's a small lift for luggage and/or people. There was a cafe at the bottom of the building. We were there during orthodox Easter and it was a little noisy with the church bells, but that is not the apartment's fault :) Recommended!

Well-located apartment in an older building, with two BIG bedrooms (both with king-size beds), plenty of hot water, close to Ermou Street, Athens Central Market, and the awesome 72h Artisanal Bakery.

Compared to other rental apartments in this area, I think it was a bit overpriced, but it was clean, safe, and decent-sized. Also, the booking.com listing for this apartment mentioned a clothes washer (very important to us as a family) but there was none provided.

We enjoyed several days at this comfortable apartment in the heart of Athens, in walking distance of the major sights and museums. We had spacious, nicely decorated bedrooms, each with tv, comfortable beds and a generous supply of soft, well-laundered linens with thorough, regular cleaning. We loved having a lift. We used one sofabed as a sofa and sat chatting round the table in the compact dining area. Best of all we could explore some different aspects of Athens, beyond famous sites: there is a huge food market nearby, coffee bars, restaurants and lots of affordable shoe and clothing shops just moments away.

The kitchen was a bit old fashioned but actually had everything we needed for a few family meals, and lots of glasses and plates. The bathroom and washing machine were fine, the water heater gave very hot water - check for children using it. There was no balcony so an extra drying rack would help but the wall mounted one was adequate. This was a really comfortable, homey family stay and the host was helpful.

Comfy apartment for a short stay in Athens with a group (7pax)! The location is perfect, all sights and important parts of Athens are in walking distance :) The host was super friendly and responded quickly. We would definitely stay here again!
