Excellent communication with host, Matina. She really is a star. We left an item at the apartment and she went to the trouble of sending it to us at our next destination. She was very accommodating and allowed us to check in early as we had been in communication. As such, our room was the first one to be cleaned. We arrived just after 1230pm and everything was ready. Matina also sent us a walking guide to all the major sites in Athens. What I really appreciated about it was that there were specific instructions to the acropolis entrance where you can go up to see the Parthenon and other temples. Loved that there was laundry available. When travelling in Greece in the summer, you want fresh clothes after walking in the heat.

It did not hit me at first but after being out we came back and found that the room had a bit of a smoke smell. We discovered it was coming from the stair case as there has been people smoking there with their cigarette butts left behind. We blasted the air conditioning and it really helped but it was a shame!

The location was awesome...most places were walkable. The room was compact and had everything we required. Matina, our host, was very responsive to all my queries, right from the time we booked. We even kept some luggage back in the free locker they provided. The place felt safe and like home. Thank you Matina for your hospitality and will surely recommend Emerald Suites to my friends and family.

Some more lighting in the room would be welcome. Also, if you could provide conditioner in the bathroom, as water in Greece is hard on the hair.

Very spacious. Crispy clean white linen. The only thing was the smell of cigarette smoke when we arrived. There is a sign in the apartment saying no smoking though so not that the host is not doing anything about it. Matina very responsive. The lockers to use for luggage after checkout for a light flight and SUPER!

The entrance from the street and the lobby looks a bit shabby.

It was very clean, had a pretty view, it also was located in a very nice place which was close to pretty much everything. There wasn't a time where we needed to order a taxi since you could go to everything by walking. Overall, it was a lovely place and the owner was also very kind.

Clean, new, well-equipped & nicely decorated flat. The flat offered welcome drinks. There are big lockers free of charge if it's available. We got luck to get one and could leave our luggage after check out. Very nice croissant bakery & Cafés nearby. Close to Monastiraki station which is really convenient for traveling around Athens. It's very suitable for young couples/friends who might enjoy night life in Athens as there are bars nearby. We are a family with a small kid and need to squeeze a bit to fit the trolley in the lift but we managed it.

As there are bars nearby it could be noisy if you are sensitive to the noises. Could be noisy until 2-3am. The flat offers earplugs though. The shower head could be improved as everything looks new& nice except the shower head.

Spotlessly clean apartment, ideal for our family of 4. Fantastic location, very central but very quiet. The lockers to leave our luggage prior to and after our stay were a huge help to us too. Great communication via message with the owner, who was very responsive and very helpful. Highly recommend.

The room was very spacious and clean! They have provided us with coffee, water and juice within the room and the location was perfect! Besides the good facilities, I liked the fact that we had the chance to leave our luggages at safety lockers until our check-in time or in case we had a late flight on the day of check-out.

Everything was perfect. We just wanted an hour of later check-out which was not possible but not a big issue either.

Very kind and accommodating staff. The rooms were so nice , they must have paid great attention when renovating/making the rooms. There was no landlord Specials everything felt like good quality. I felt really safe with their code and key system. Great location near everything but tucked a street away so it was nice and quiet at night

Modern and clean with handy Aircon. Spacious and well equipped, absolutely perfect location for exploring the centre of Athens- all the top spots accessible by foot. Host was so friendly and helpful throughout the trip and even cleaned the apartment mid stay.

Nothing. It was outstanding. Perhaps a tea towel to dry the dishes, an extra bin bag, and a pair of scissors would be useful additions to the apartment.

Excellent location! Walking distance to all the attractions with plenty of cafes, restaurants, and shopping around. Nice to have two beds in separate rooms with comfortable bedding. The room is well-equipped with plenty of supplies, even small juice, drinking water, and coffee cookies. Washer and dryer are very helpful for laundry. Matina was very responsive and thoughtful.

There’s mildew smell when entering the building and in the bathroom area. It’s an older building.
