I loved this hostel, truly. It is the best shared accommodation I've experienced after 2 months in Europe. It feels like you’re in a really trendy hotel. The beds are comfy, and having two bathrooms per dorm is genius. Each floor has its own little kitchen, which is totally news to me when a hostel also has a restaurant/bar. There’s a gym, laundry, yoga room, cinema,and rooftop bar. I loved that there’s even a coworking space [I would suggest expanding it to a quieter place in the basement to be even more perfect, as sometimes the common areas do get loud, and if you’re trying to get some work done, it’s difficult]. Also, it’s near the subway, and you’re in the touristy area in no time. But it’s better to be in this area if you like a more local vibe.

I think the female dorm had some volunteers in it because there was a lot of stuff in the bathroom and common areas, things of someone staying long term, giving a bit of a messy vibe. (I’m sure the volunteers would love to have their own staff room, btw.) Again, nothing major. Just something to consider.

The room was great - cleaned every day. Even though I stayed with 11 more people and it was my first time solo traveling, I really enjoyed it and made new friends. I didn't try the breakfast, but my roommates told me that it was delicious. Also I would like to mention that the location was great - near by is a train station that takes you to city center and also bus stop that takes you to and from airport wasn't very far. The hotel also offers activities like yoga. hotel also has a roof top bar that works until 11PM and if you are not ready to stop partying then you can go to the basement and continue. I heard from my roommates that there is a gym at the basement, but I never went to check it out. Also very crucial to mention that the ac in my room was 10/10 - never too cold and never too hot.

Good value hostel and very friendly, helpful staff. The breakfast is exceptional with good choices. The yoghurt, fruit, honey & chia seeds bowl - if chosen- is almost worth the price alone 😋

I didn't like the steps up to the top bunk - which serve two upper bunks and is a bit precarious! Much preferred bottom bunk from previous stay but that's the luck of the draw. The location isn't anything special but is quite near a Metro station for getting to other parts of Athens. The Kifissos Bus station is a good half hour walk away.

I liked the fact that the building is so clean and looks like it has just been built. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The Metro station is only a few streets away and this made it very convenient to get back to the hostel at the end of the day. Having a communal kitchen was very convenient when not eating out.

The air conditioning in the room I was staying (301) was turned up too high and it felt like I was trying to sleep in a fridge. This problem was compounded by the fact that we were only given a single sheet for bedding, as well as pillow that was so hard it was almost unusable. I think the quality of the breakfast could be Improved upon aswell as came across as overly basic.

Had a perfect stay at Athens Hawks Urban! The room and facilities were spotlessly clean, and the staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating. Despite being a hostel, we opted for a private room with a double bed and a private bathroom, and the experience felt just like staying at a comfortable hotel. Daily cleaning and room service were a bonus. The amenities were excellent – fast Wi-Fi, a well-equipped gym, a shared kitchen, and a restaurant offering great brunch options with unlimited coffee and juice. Safe parking is available at an affordable price, which was very convenient. While it’s not located in the city center, the area is calm and has everything you need, including a nearby supermarket. Overall, a fantastic and value-for-money stay. Highly recommend!

Super clean and spacious downstairs. I like the cubical beds which allow for more privacy. Staff is really nice, especially the boys. They were always trying to be helpful. It’s $5-10 taxis ride to city center and there is also a metro nearby. Both take the same amount of time. I appreciate asking people to be quiet in the bedrooms and social in the living spaces. I hope they keep that up.

Showers are nice but water gets all over the floor so the next person will have wet feet. The hostel needs to find a way to ask people to push the water into the drain after the showers for less water all over.

Although it is an hostel, staying in a private room with bathroom feels like you are in a hotel so I would recommend it not only to anyone who wants to stay in a hostel but also to anyone who wants to stay in a hotel but wants value for money. Very new and modern, the bedroom was comfortable and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Although not in the centre it is very easily reached by underground and only 10-15 mins from the centre.

Although the bathroom is very comfortable, the shower could have a glass door in addition to the glass panel to avoid water going on the floor.

I loved the location. in Sepolia. quiet neighborhood. near enough to a metro station. the best thing about this property are the people who work there — front desk, breakfast servers, room cleaners. everyone. I had to change my reservation multiple times (because I was there to help someone who was in the hospital and had to extend my stay) and the front desk staff worked with me to offer the best options. I loved both of my private rooms — either bathroom “en suite” and with shared bathroom. I did not stay in the dorm rooms but they looked great, too.

I had a bit of a hard time finding it (walking from Metro) the first night.

I asked for quiet room and nice gent at reception gave me the best he could in a busy small Hotel. Room was good, bed good (all beds in Greece tend to be hard but this was on the okay side; I’ve had the rocky side elsewhere!). Great shower, clean lines of design in room. Good for overnight stay. Very well priced for what u get and a 5 euro for very basic -and convenient breakfast but there’s nowhere else u can go in this area (a cafe or two but breakfast options not great). And big bonus for me - receptionists helpful with bus information. 10 min away from KTEL KFISSOS station by taxi which was convenient for me; a little further to KTEL Lioisin station

The place is impersonal and not high on charm and best for short stays. The area has little going on other than an AMAZING ARMENIAN restaurant but very safe and relatively quiet except for crazy drivers playing super loud music.
