Very spacious, comfortable beds, modern apartment

Shower could've been clearer. There was hair from a previous guest in the drain. Tap to the sink in bathroom is very loose, 1 light bulb needs to be replaced. Neighborhood is a little rough, apartment is far from most attractions

This was a large and clean 'budget' apartment. The air-conditioning, hot water, appliances and bathroom all worked well. It was well located between two metro stops. Generally the photos represented the apartment. The staff were exceptionally responsive.

The kitchen was very poorly equipped for cooking even a basic meal. We had to request dinner plates, which were quickly supplied the next day. The local neighbourhood might intimidate a novice or solo traveller. We had problems on check in with the door code not working as specified. We had to call to gain entry.

The apartment was quite large compared to the price level. They allowed us the leave our baggage there earlier.

No deep cleaning was done after the previous occupant, only surface level. There were stains on the blinds, the wall, the floor, the sofas. There were not enough blankets. The bathroom faucet was broken.

There was nothing in the house. All the doors were broken. They sent someone to come. They promised to fix the doors the day after. Finally, they never came again. The shower was weak. I could not rinse my hair because it was too weak. There was no hair dryer. I could not dry my hair. There was no electric kettle. There was not a frying pan. There was nothing in the house, only the house with broken doors. We barely cooked our breakfast. The elevator was a nightmare. I was so fraid that i had to clim 5 floors everyday. The apartment was at 5th floor and the elevator was as if it would fall. The location was bad because it located in an area which looked unsafe. Strongly recommend not to rent this apartment. The house looks gorgeous on pics but it actually is horrible.

I liked that towels were provided upon request and the host gets back in touch quickly. We also were offered a second cleaning which unfortunately didn’t make it better.

I have booked many hotels but this was a first. I have no idea how someone could leave a good review. There is dirt on the walls and the floor. I cleaned the white leather bed frame as it was yellow and the flat smelled like Indian cuisine throughout our stay. There was hair in the shower and even after requesting a second clean the flat was still dirty. It doesn’t look like the pictures at all. The were still some shi** stains in the toilet which we had to clean ourselves. Those weren’t the only issues but should give you an idea. If you can, please avoid this place!

TOTALLY DECEIVED!!! WHAT WILL ALL THOSE WHO MADE THE MISLEADING EXCELLENT REVIEWS SAY WHEN THEY SEE THE PICTURES AND THE REAL CONDITION OF THE PROPERTY? Both good reviews and sparkling pictures were deceiving! I arrived late in the night to find out that the overall condition of the property had nothing to do with what was advertised... The appartment was overall long term neglected and in terrible condition, many things were damaged, there was even a hole on the bedroom wall where the insulation could be pulled out, stains all over the walls etc. Not to mention the area, which is the least safe in Athens, there was even a junkie vomitting a few meters away from the building entrance and the safety can be seriously compromised! In addition to that, despite I had called them twice in advance to confirm the booking, the appartment had not been cleaned since the previous guests, the appartment was everywhere dirty and it was smelling awful, there were stains of food and liquids and clusters of hair all over the place, even cigarette ashes in the fridge, the sheets from previous guest were on a chair, EVEN A DEAD COACKROACH ON THE WINDOW BLINDS, the toilet had accumulated dirt that it was disgusting even to look at it! It was impossible to stay in the property, I called immediately both Booking and the management company (Athens Stay), I sent pictures and they accepted full liability to Booking. However, the owner did not even apologise! He was inhuman and indifferent saying that they may have just simply forgotten to clean it and when I requested an alternative to spend the night he said he could do absolutely nothing about it and that it was my problem! I had to drive for 4 hours back home! What would have happened if I had arrived from abroad? I guess that the crowds of tourists in Athens this year made them very gready and arrogant, with no respect to their customers, deceiving tourists to grab as much money as possible! They disgrace greek hospitality!

I was totally deceived by the pictures and the good reviews.. I honestly doubt about how transparent, honest and in good will are the good comments about the property and the owner. The owner, who claims to manage 'luxury'' properties in Athens, was extremely unprofessional and indifferent, he just accepted to offer the refund, demanded by Booking when I sent them the pictures, apparently to avoid further consequencies! They never bothered to offer an alternative stay in Athens, they did not even apologise, they simply disappeared! I have just to ask the owner a question: How does he feel when he sees the pictures I upload and the pictures he uses to advertise the property? Would he ever stay in this dirty and damaged property? I feel it is my responsibility to warn other people so they do not become victims of the misleading good reviews of the past (I doubt who really wrote them and how honest they are) and the misleading pictures. I feel it is my responsibility to do my bit and protect the greek hospitality from people who disgrace it and have become so gready and arrogant after the big tourist flow in Athens this year, so that they have lost their principles and treat customers in such a disgareceful way! The pictures are self-explanatory.... I ALSO TRIED TO UPLOAD A MORE ENLIGHTENING VIDEO, BUT IT WAS NOT POSSIBLE, I HAVE SENT IT TO THE OWNER (AND BOOKING), PLEASE FEEL FREE TO ASK THE OWNER (OR BOOKING) TO SEND IT TO YOU BEFORE YOU BOOK SO THAT YOU KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT AND TO SEE YOURSELF THE DEAD COCKROACH ON THE WINDOW BLIND!!!

Everything. All pictures in the description of the apartment are FAKE. It is surprising that this website does not have control on the property description and it’s accuracy. Terribly old and rusted apartment. Completely worn out mattresses and you will have to sleep on the iron springs of the mattresses. When we arrived it was not properly cleaned and no towels, bed linens, blankets, etc. Bathroom was disaster as they have some zero watt dim lights. I can continue to go on but my point is made
