Rooms were clean and bed was comfortable. We brought our penguin soft toys family and the cleaner(s) kept changing the arrangements every day to welcome us daily from our excursions - it was so adorable and personal!

It is about 9 min to walk from the Athens station to the hotel. We didn’t experience the potential dangers that the other travelers mentioned and the streets were bright and safe enough for us to walk around even after 10pm.

Good bathroom accessories. Good pool. Easy to get taxi

The meanness of providing 1 Tea bag a-day and paper cups for hot drinks which can be dangerous. Once used couldnt be used again or used for water . We are in a hotel not a kids birthday party.

The staff were fabulous. Very friendly and helpful. Made us feel welcome. Attentive restaurant/bar staff. Evening meals were great, no need to go out after a busy day walking and exploring. Breakfast fantastic. We made sure we got back to the hotel at 5pm to have a swim and a refreshing beer. At sunset it was a beautiful view with 360 degrees views of Athens. Room clean and bed very comfortable. Accomodation including price was very good.

Location.. . Didn't feel safe walking around the neighbourhood during the day. We did appreciate security at the entrance of hotel..If you use the taxi service instead of walking it was easy and quite an affordable way to go to destinations. We used the taxi service to and from the airport.

I had seen a lot of negative comments about this hotel, mainly because its in a run down area of town, but it did not effect our holiday at all, we just took a taxi from the front door and was in the centre in 5 mins. Breakfast was amazing, huge choice, although they start packing some things away, nearer to closing time, probably people who left bad comments, arrived late, also the hotel was full, so maybe less in winter. We went as a family of four, so again, that probably saved us 40 euros a day, minimum, with the amount of doughnuts our kids eat They have wonderful under hotel parking, that would cost you cost you 20 euro a day here, so there is 40 euros off, Drive past the front of the hotel and up the road, then its first right and right again then it takes you in a square to the side of the hotel, Hotel is a little aged, few broken bits and bobs, but it was clean and tidy and superb value for money, We had a simple double bedded room, when they put the sofa bed down, there was no where then to walk, but its priced like that. I saw they had nice bigger rooms at the front of the hotel, If you have bigger kids, you maybe better getting one of these. The pool is great, but gets packed, but first thing in the morning, there is no one there, Overall its a steal for what you pay and what you get, We went in August, so the city is quiet. Staff from reception, to the cleaners, to the bar and breakfast staff, were all very good. We WILL! stay here again

Cold beans for breakfast

The pool view of the acropolis is beautiful, my 8 year old and myself walked to it and many other attractions from the hotel including the Olympic stadium. The rooms are very clean and come with everything needed. The staff are so helpful, even providing maps, colouring book and a small teddy for my daughter! Perfect hotel and would 100% stay here again.

The pool bar is ridiculously expensive. A beer is about 8.50 euro when all other restaurants (including the one just to the side of the hotel) are average 3-5euro! Even a bottle of water at the pool costs 4euro! Most expensive bar I’ve seen in a hotel.

We had a lovely two night family stay at this hotel. Breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of choice. The rooms were clean and comfortable with very good and much needed air conditioning! Added bonus of having the rooftop pool serving food and drinks and a great view of the Acropolis. The pool area could be a little bigger as it was very busy when we were there. We found the location to be fine as we used Uber to travel around. There’s also a 24hr bar/restaurant adjacent to the hotel with friendly staff and great food. We would definitely return to this hotel.

The roof top pool was a little small for the occupancy of the hotel but we managed to get a padded seat and only stayed for a short while as so much to do out with the hotel! The bathrooms were a little dated.

Excellent facilities and great value for money. Family executive room was spacious for four of us for a four-night stay. Air-con excellent. All saff extremely helpful and personable. Parking really convenient. Fantastic breakfast. Roof-top pool, bar and restaurant excellent and reasonably priced with lovely views of the Acropolis and the sunset over the hills of Attica. Second year we have stayed here.

The area does let it down, unfortunately - not the hotel's fault. It is only a 20 / 25 minute walk into the Monastiraki district and a short drive to get out of Athens with a hire car. The area, however, is so run-down with so many derelict buildings and, unfortunately, lots of homelessness. We caught a taxi to and from the hotel especially at night. Athens could easily solve its housing crisis and making the area a better place to be. Once you're in the hotel, it feels like another world.

I loved the rooftop pool and the view of the parthenon from up there. I was able to eat and drink up there. The room was very nice and modern. The beds were super comfy.

One of the waiters was not very accommodating when I asked to move out of the sun to eat. I was getting heat exhaustion, so I moved anyway and he didn't like it. The room we got looked at another building. The location was a little bit of a far walk to the main part of downtown. There were not a lot of good restaurants around us but once we walked a few blocks, we were in the middle of everything.

We always take Novotel hotel if possible, because stay is nice, breakfast is perfect and is pet friendly. This one in Athens doesn’t allow to take your dog to breakfast with you, unlike the Novotels in France and Austria. So it is not completely pet friendly, but ok. This hotel has the best breakfast ever. The area is very close to city centre but the impression is - not completely safe. We visited a rooftop swimming pool area to see the fireworks for new years eve, and it was very nice experience, since we were visiting with small children and the dog, so didn’t want to stay out too late.

The pool is a little gem. Also the service is very good.

The location is a bit creepy
