The room is very clean, beds are comfortable. Decor is nice and relaxing. Check-in easy. All staffs are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is wonderful. There is also cool fruity water you can drink freely at lobby. Rooftop terrace has a swimming pool with beautiful view especially at night. We did really enjoy our stay in Athens.

Location is not far from metro station which is great point. However when we have dinner in some restaurants in neighbourhood they warned us to pay attention because there's lot of pickpockets arround... There's some noise at night and in early morning arround 7 a.m from the room above us. Someone pulled something on the ground noisilly... I don't know what they did at night or such early morning but that happened 2 days like that and we were awaked by that noise. Maybe the hotel should put some rubber little pieces under the chairs the tables...to avoid that kind of noise ?

The rooms were clean and modern, a typical hotel room. We were a family of 4 and had one room with 4 beds. Bathroom was modern and clean. Rooms were serviced everyday. Best part was the rooftop, pool, bar and sitting area. Was great to be able to retreat upstairs for a swim in the heat of the day and have views of the Acropolis. Pool is not huge but enough to sit and look out over city. Also nice in evening to chill out and have a drink with views of city at night. Helpful reception.

A bit further out from town, short walk to metro. Although there are quite a few gems of local coffee shops, restaurants around the area.

BREAKFAST OK, EXCEPT BREAD DID NOT TOAST.

The breakfast was absolutely wonderful and when 9:30 strikes, the staff politely ask if you would like to have anything else from the buffet before they remove 😉 this I found very polite and courteous. The staff at the front desk were very welcoming and friendly. The location was great too..

I didn't get a chance to stay long through the days so I wasn't able to notice what I didn't like... However I would have loved to have used a nig bed rather than a room with 2 small beds since I was alone but still this wasn't a big problem that I couldn't adjust too... they even charged my room to a better one ...it was wonderful.

The room was clean and comfiortable, the breakfast was good and it was essy to get to by metro from the airport and central locations around the city. The room was quiet and had good blackout curtains. We found some good restaurants and an excellent bakery in the neughborhood. The roof top terrace was lovely.

There was nowhere to hang towels in the bathroom and on some evenings cigarette smoke from other people's rooms got into ours, which was unpleasant. The pool was very small, making it a bit inaccessible during busy times.

Very nice roof terasse with good view of the city and the swimming pool that was much appreciated by the kids after hot day in Athens. Very easy access to the city center by public transport. I have a feeling, that the hotel was further improved (roof terrace) compared to our visit three years ago. No complaints, just compliments!

The room was tidy enough to my expectations, but a bit of extra attention here and there in the room would do no harm. Having said that, my kids and myself would definitely choose the hotel again.

Rooms were nice and big. Breakfast was also good with quite wide variety. Very good coffee. Our favourite was rooftop pool and bar with amazing views to the Acropolis. There was also tasty food in the rooftop bar.

The hotel wasnt too far from center, but it was located in dirty and not the nicest area. We didnt use public transport and it took us around 25 minutes to walk to the city center, which was totally fine for us. Beer in rooftop terrace was expensive even compared to city center bars.

The pictures on booking.com don't do this hotel justice. The hotel is so clean, from the rooms, to the rooftop. The pool was small but the perfect getaway from the streets and sightseeing on hot days (never busy up on the rooftop either so can easily grab a sunbed). The rooftop also has a bar with 360-degree views of Athens, including the acropolis! Beautiful at both day and night. Food on the rooftop is also brilliant.

There wasn't much I didn't like about the Candia. The only thing I would say is the beds are very firm. However, we did go for the standard, basic, room - so this may improve for the better standard doubles.

The rooftop terrace is lovely when you find the quieter section with a stunning view of the Parthenon. They serve a very nice Aperol Spritz and the Tortillas and Guacamole were the best I've had in years!

For some reason, they put me in a room with a disabled wet room instead of a bathroom. That meant everything got wet when I had a shower. The bed was very firm - maybe that's a requirement for the disabled but I found it uncomfortable, staying for two nights.

A clean, confortable and quiet room. The view from the upper-floor bar was very nice and also the personnell there very kind. The breakfast was overall good and with various offers.

Some more information at the desk on tours/transportation/opportunities could give a further boost to the structure. The room was very well insonorized from the traffic, but not from noisy neighbours (whose shutting of doors were sadly quite hearable from my room).
