First of all, the price was the best "Benefit/Cost" offer during my search for Athens. It has quite large reception/lobby area with 24 hours reception service. The Staff was so kind; smiling face and very helpful about everything you need. *The hotel has also a luggage room that you may leave your stuff even you arrive earlier or if you leave the town later, so that you may enjoy your day without carrying any luggage. In my opinion, the Hotel has such a good location that you may reach so easily by train/metro line directly from the Airport. Then you have only 1 min. of walking from the metro station of the square in order to arrive at hotel. The hotel has only 15-20 mins. of walking distance to the historical and touristic locations. You may easily take the metro as well, in order to reach every point of Athens. *I definitely advise to buy a "3 Days Ticket", so that you may use it during 3 days for all train/metro/tram/bus lines and then back to the Airport again. *You may find nice coffee shops around that square, so that you may take your morning coffee and/or also delicious bread products for the breakfast. *In the comments, it is said that there are a lot of homeless people around that zone; it is true but, they do not bother anyone for anything. So, considering the "Price/Benefit" issue, everything was ideal for the Hotel and for our stay during 3 days. It was a very good weekend. Thanks for everything..
Honestly, i do not have any negative impression during our stay.

All the staff were professional and really friendly and helpful.
It is what it is. €45 a night. Room was spotlessly clean. Good shower, small balcony to have a smoke. 100 metres to metro. 24 hr attended reception. Bed was comfortable. No bar or dining room but close to alternatives. Perfect for solo traveller, not if you are trying to impress if travelling as a couple. Day pass for metro/tram/ busses is €4.40, really good if you buy some things and want to head back for an hour to unload. Will stay there again.

After reading reviews I had my expectations really low. However, hotel actually was great! In every way. Stuff was super friendly, welcoming, always at desk available. Rooms are a bit old, but clean, comfy (beds and linens were great! we slept perfectly comfortably). Room has everything, including a small fridge, also of a very good quality. Bathroom was good, everything was functional. There always was hot water, good stream. Location is good: close to metro station, with couple of good cafes in the area. We saw couple of homeless people at night time, but no junkies, no scary stuff, that was described in other reviews. Really recommend, great quality for the price!
Moskitos. However, that is not on a hotel :) Just bring something with you (yes, even in November!)

Hotel itself was very comfortable, quiet, spacious rooms, cheap, but above all the staff were lovely. Everything was very clean too.
The area itself is one of the rougher parts of Athens, I'd recommend against inexperienced solo female travellers unless they've got a friend with them. However, in terms of getting to the hotel itself from the metro, the streets are safe, just try not to wander far unless you're inclined that way.

Hotel is definitely dated, but I am impressed what was done with it. Owners definitely tried to make it more modern, more typical of what you can often find common today. Staff was nice and helpful. Room was kept clean, bed was comfy, bathroom was spacious and had free cosmetics available. I had room on the very top floor, so I had big balcony. View was nothing great, but it was there. WiFi worked perfectly the entire time. Easy check in and check out. Localization is great, metro station was super close. It absolutely fulfiled my needs and was exactly what I would expect from a hotel. Which is why I recommend it, as long as you do not expect your hotel to be fancy.

The front desk and booking staffs were very helpful and they will provide any info you need in the timely manner. They also provide storage for our luggags and they specially allowed us for an early check-in (if the room is available). We were grateful especially after long hours flight from Latin America. They were also sharing their microwave and kettle in the staff's pantry. We have nothing to complain about the hotel and we felt safe and secure to stay there for four nights.
Only a small note but nothing related to the hotel actually. The small alleys next to the hotel are not too safe to walk at night (or basically the whole Athens). If you are walking from the Metro at night, please use the main road at the roundabout and the main road in front of the hotel with extra cautions, otherwise it would be better to use Uber to reach in front of the hotel directly.

The staff were welcoming, pleasant, helpful and professional. The hotel is dated, and the location is very close to a subway stop, bus stations and not far from a train station, which would be great except that it seems to attract homeless. If the homeless could be moved into shelters, not allowed to sleep on the sidewalks, it would feel like a much safer area at night, but even so, I personally never felt threatened or at any risk of harm. The great rates are likely due to the fact that the property is out dated and the location isn't ideal. For me that trade-off was very well worth it. I would stay there again without hesitation. There are convenient places to eat and a couple nearby family-owned restaurants that I really liked. My favorite surprise was that the weekly farmers market was on the same street as the hotel, just a half block away, wonderful produce, flowers, and souvlaki and lots of fun. Its quick and easy to get to all the sights with the metro system. Overall, to me it felt like a more authentic experience than hotels in the more touristy areas

Great budget hotel. Nothing to complain. Room : some reviews say, furniture old. Well, that's the style of the hotel. Retro style of the 1970ies to 1980ies. I liked it . Only problem is that the sliding door to balcony was extremely difficult to open. Staff helped with explanation, but next day it did not work at all. Internet good, room was quiet, comfortable beds. Offered additional blankets and big plus : room has a fridge. Was excellent value for money. Reception : always open with friendly staff Area : many hotels around and also restaurants. Not far from railway station and some bus departure points to Bulgaria and Albania. Fully ok at day, at evening better take metro or taxi for return. A few small roads in the area are maybe not good to walk around. Athens has problems with homeless people.

It's a perfect choice of a budget hotel for those active tourists who stay in the room to sleep, change and off to explore the city. Thr room is spacious, together with bathroom, there's a nice balcony, the view is just toward the opposite building, but you can get a fresh air and an idea about the weather outside. Everything was clean: the room, bathroom, halls, elevators, reception. Towels were changed daily (btw, towels were super white, nice and puffy). A/c, TV, hair dryer, sockets next to beds. In a word - it's a great stay with all expected facilities. Location is also convenient in terms of proximity to metro (2 min walk), train station (10 min walk - if you decide to take a train to other towns), small groceries, decent cafes for morning coffee.
Not that I didn't like it, it didn't bother me at all, just an observation - outdated design and repair.

The room was spotless and bright—thanks to large balcony windows—, a comfortable size, and furnished with everything we needed. Wi-Fi and air conditioning worked flawlessly. The bathroom and shower were rather small, but perfectly serviceable and also clean, with a generous supply of towels, soap, and shampoo. Staff was very friendly, with excellent English skills, and knowledgeable about the area and the city in general. Location is exceptionally convenient for trips to the Acropolis and most other tourist attractions (2-minute walk to the station, then a 9-minute subway ride to the city centre). Unlike quite a few other reviewers, we did not find the immediate surroundings of the hotel troubling: the area is lively, with locals enjoying their evenings in the public spaces, but everything was very relaxed; we walked to nearby restaurants for dinner nearly every night of our stay, and not once did we feel unsafe. Finding street parking was fairly easy for us in the surrounding small streets.
Both my girlfriend and I did not find the mattresses to be the most comfortable, with them being rather thin. Also, it being an older building, the sound insulation is understandably not the best; if you are sensitive to noise or generally a light sleeper, you might want to bring earplugs.
