The hotel met expectations in terms of the cost we paid. Research highlighted the location which is the same of many hotels in the area, the streets around are not at all pleasant, though we didn't feel unsafe. It is though, a fairly central location, good access, and plenty to eat and drink nearby. The main tourist areas are 15-20 mins walk away which was fine. Room was comfortable, with key facilities being fridge and air conditioning, shower was fine. Inevitably noisy outside, but I'm glad we had a street facing room rather than out the back! Somehow, taking in the noise from the balcony was refreshing but inside with the door shut the noise wasn't an issue.

Only the location - pretty unpleasant in the streets around with a large number of people sleeping in doorways and in the gutters.

The price was great and so was the room. The air conditioning was really welcome. The fridge was a big plus during our time there. The staff was polite and helpful and gave us some great advice on our first day on what to see in the city and how to get there. Both metro and train station are really close to the hotel, so are several shops up the road. It's also close enough to the city centre so you can just walk there like we did the first time to explore.

Fridge is a bit too loud, but should be ok for heavy sleepers. No hair conditioner for the mrs.

The property was close to center city. The staff were nice and someone came to clean our room everyday. We came at 1pm and were able to check in right away which was nice and got a room with a big balcony without purchasing one, the balcony had a really good view:).

The property had us turn in our room key each time we left, not sure if this is normal for Greece/Athens. Up the street was also a poorer area with lots of unhoused people, there were people doing drugs and relieving themselves on the street (you can avoid this area by taking the metro instead of walking to the center city).

Location is great if you plan on using the subway 200 meters away. (including coming from airport) Perfect location for hailing cab if you prefer. Staff was wonderful. Room was fine and clean. Hotel surrounded by other hotels in the neighborhood. Price is great.

Doesn't have breakfast or coffee in lobby. I read many complaints before going about too many immigrants? in neighborhood. So what? Also complaints about homeless and drugs nearby. There is an alley with many homeless but not a problem. No hassles.

The rooms were spacious and well decorated, very clean also, with an absolutely amazing balcony with a lovely view over the mountains in the distance and also of the city in the other direction. The beds were very comfortable and the AC was such a great addition also. The location of the hotel is perfect, being so close to all of the major tourist destinations and also to the center of Athens, also being a minute or so from the local metro station - the local area itself is also very nice. The shower rooms were nice and spacious also, with all of the necessary amenities.

We had a few maintenance issues with the AC during our stay, however, the staff were very accommodating and understanding and had it fixed very quickly for us which was deeply appreciated. The area is lovely, however, there are some streets I would personally avoid after dark.

The property is in a good location and a 5mins walk to the train station.

It’s in a city center very close to metro stations and all the tourist spots are within walking distance. Staff were amazing they helped me a lot. Guided me to the right way for the airport at 3am booked taxi for me. They was amazing.

It’s little bit old hotel but that doesn’t matter if you want to stay in city center.

I did not like the small corner shower in our room,: water pressure was not strong enough to rinse my hair before the water collected and nearly went over...did not drain fast enough while showering.

The hotel is OK. Great location. Walking distance to all destinations. The staff is friendly. Parking across the street is not for large SUV car. It receives smaller cars that are sent to the floors by elevator. The friendly staff of the hotel recommended me a garage in the neighboring street behind, which accepts large SUV cars, 15e per night.

The shower cabin with a curtain is not to my taste...a lot of water spills out ...

Very comfortable, very kind staff, and affordable. Overall pretty good hotel.

The location is not family friendly. There is a street full of dangerous people (addicts etc.) just on the back side of the hotel. It is fine if you are couple of friends, but i will NOT recommend for families
