We spent 5 nights at Stalis Hotel. The room was very very clean, had a bathroom and everything was functional. The bed was comfortable. The Hotel is very close to everything and it just takes a 10 minute walk to town. The staff was very friendly!

However the area is a little bit rough and can feel unsafe. If you’re going out at night I would recommend to get a taxi even if it would be just a 10 minute walk.

I really liked the room service and the cleanliness at the hotel, the staff was very friendly, no one stole anything, it felt safe, we even had a terrace. Of course, the place around had a lot of junkies day and night, but it’s not the hotel’s issue and they are harmless anyways, unless you leave your stuff behind, they might steal. Overall it’s very good if you’re just planning to travel around the country

there’s mold in the bathroom and after taking a shower the floor is really wet for a while

I liked the staff, very kind and helpfull & the room was clean.

My shower was missing a door so the water got everywhere and i got woken up by all the hallway noises and noises from room. The isolation of the building was not that great but other than that, it was fine!

The shower head wouldn't stay fixed all the time, sometimes it went loose (fell down in my head). Also the shower box was clogged, the water didn't drain well. And there's sewage smell in the bathroom... But honestly, with the absurd prices for hotels in Athens right now, this one is great.

The personal of the hotel is very nice. We traveled to mykonos and santorini for 5 days and they let us leave our baggage with them. They gave us a map of Athens with the most important places to see. Very nice place for the price and the metro is very close. Also if you take the hop off bus is very near from the hotel. I recommend it.

We thought the location of the hotel could be a little bit dangerous, but we had no problem, we went out late at night and it was a bit dark and lonely around but it was safe. The shower was a bit uncomfortable, very small and no place to put the soap or shampoo.

Really enjoyed how affordable the place is, considering the facilities, the location and the staff. It had an amazing balcony and a comfortable bed. Perfect for solo travelers.

The area close to the hotel didn't feel properly safe after 8pm, I don't recommend for solo female travelers to be in this area during the late night. You have to wait a bit to have hot water in the shower and the curtain was not the best, since it leaked to the floor a lot.

Friendly and helpful staff, room is fine, it was clean and the balcony is great. Very close to everything in the center at a very cheap price. Great for an overnight stay IF you can get a high floor room (5+), for a busy Friday night I didn't hear much noise. I'm guessing the lower floors would be quite noisy. You get what you pay for, this is a bed and a shower, a roof over your head for the night. Adjust your expectations and this is a decent.place.

Not for families! This not the place. Nothing against the hotel itself, it does what it does: short term stay. Know what you are in for. I slept ON the blanket. Just sleep, don't think about it and get out. The "wind" blew some trash on the balcony that I had to cleanup. But not the hotel fault And the elevator is minuscule and old, but once again not much the hotel can do about it. Would crash here again if needed

Price was great. A 20min walk to the Panthenon and 5min walk to the metro (train).

The surrounding neighborhood made me feel a little uneasy/worried for safety.
