Lovely, quirky boutique hotel in a great location away from the main tourist area yet just a shortish 2km walk to the Acropolis and Parthenon. We arrived on a late flight and the hotel staff not only booked a taxi to pick us up from the airport but also greeted us warmly at 1am when we finally arrived. The fun and colourful hotel decor is a highlight, our room was comfortable, spacious and airy. Breakfast was plentiful and the staff went out of their way to help us with restaurant recommendations, taxi bookings and a breakfast box for our early departure. Cannot recommend Colors Hotel highly enough, we had a fantastic stay.

Due to a personal oversight, I accidentally booked my stay for five nights until Monday instead of the intended four nights until Sunday. When I realized the mistake just four days later - still more than two months before the actual stay - I contacted the hotel to request an adjustment. Unfortunately, my request to shorten the reservation was declined. While I completely respect the non-refundable policy, I had hoped for a bit more flexibility given the early timing of my request. This experience unfortunately left a negative impression. Furthermore, upon arrival, we were charged the tourist tax for all five nights, despite informing the reception that we would only stay for four. This detail was disappointing and could have been handled with more attention.

We stayed at the colors hotel for 5 nights, my family and two other families with children, actually all the three families were really satisfied with this stay, the hotel is very suitable for families, rooms are children friendly, price is so fair. The staff was so friendly, helped us all with everything we needed (attractions, cafes, restaurants...). Moreover, the hotel.is 15 min walking distance from the center, so it was very good for us quiet neighberhood yet not very far from the loud center. I really recommend anyone who wants to visit athens to stay in this hotel, and will also recommend for friend and family too.

The Hotel was better than the photos, i read some reviews saying that the area was unsafe and was a little bit nervous, however the neighborhood felt super safe when i was there, there is always police in the area and it gave us some reassurance. In the morning it is very lively with many supermarkets and restaurants around. Great location, everything was a walk away so you can access the majority of the city on foot. The hotel was incredible, the staff were so professional and helpful. They always had a smile on their faces and assisted us from the moment we checked in. They gave us recommendations of places to visit and the best restaurants to try. The room was extremely clean, the sheets and linens smelt like they were freshly washed. Spacious rooms with comfortable mattresses. Honestly a great great hotel and would highly recommend staying here whenever you are in Athens.

Friendly staff. Pets allowed (I was even pleasantly surprised by the kit prepared by the hotel for our dog: water/food bowls, 2 small bags of food, a small rug). The location is quite close to the central area of interest of Athens. The morning coffee was very good. Parking is possible underground nearby (max 5 min walk) - public parking (I don't remember the price/day but it wasn't high - those who visited Amsterdam know what I'm talking about)

There is some lack of privacy due to the very small distance between the buildings. The surroundings could use some improvement (but that's true in many areas of Athens).

Fantastic service and very friendly and helpful staff. The atmosphere in the hotel is vibrant and happy. There was a little corner for kids to draw and play, right at the reception. The rooms were really lovely. The attached restaurant The Garden Bar served good food, with a great breakfast buffet. The staff are available round the clock to help and all in all, it was a wonderful experience. Would definitely recommend and would be happy to stay here again if we are in Athens.

The location was a little uncomfortable. Just stepping outside the hotel, the lanes don't feel very safe or friendly, and some parts are quite dirty and stinky.

The restaurant staff also deserves special recognition for their friendly service and the delicious meals that made my stay even more enjoyable. One memorable moment was the chef’s special dessert recommendation, which turned out to be a delightful surprise! This hotel offers incredible value for money; the level of service, amenities, and ambiance far exceeded my expectations. The entire experience, from start to finish, was seamless and stress-free. Colors Hotel truly combines comfort, hospitality, and excellence, and I can’t recommend it enough. I look forward to staying here again in the future!

The staff at Colors are fantastic. So helpful. They gave us lots of tips and recommendations and were super friendly. Location is good, near a metro. Hotel is also really stylishly decorated, with a fun design.

We loved the hotel - only criticism would be that the rooms aren't very practical for 2 friends sharing as there isn't a bathroom - just a wet room (which you can't take clothes into) and two sinks in the main bedroom - so when you get changed and get ready there isn't a huge amount of privacy.
