It was in a very central location and could easy get anywhere we needed via the trams. The bathroom was beautiful!

The was nothing wrong with the apartment but the Athens in general had a lot of graffiti

The room was large and well furnished, with all useful stuff. The location was good, there are some shop, bar and restaurant and around 15/20 minutes by foot from acropolys.

The score could be highter, but unfortunatly I've found some used tissue, underwear and a used bottle of water under mattress and I think that this in unacceptable. There was too much noise coming from windows (1 window was damaged) and the door. Furthermore would be great to provide more coffee (it was not enoght for 2 people and 3 nights).

We really liked the room - it was spacious, bright and airy, with a little sitting area and large bed (two singles pushed together which was perfect for us as mother and daughter). The decor was very good, stylish and contemporary but not cold and too over-done. The staff were very helpful, allowing us to store our luggage on the last day as we had a late flight, and they even helped us out onto the street with the cases so we could get to our cab.

We felt the location was a little bit off the beaten track although it was quite central. Also the room was quite noisy due to the road outside but probably because of the big window. It wouldn’t put me off returning as long as I had my ear plugs with me. We felt it would be really helpful if the hotel could provide a welcome pack including how to use the hot water (switch behind the door), where the extra bedding is and, very importantly, public transport nearby and how to access tickets etc which isn’t as straightforward as it should be! Any other information like nice local cafes/bars within walking distance would also be helpful as it’s not immediately in a tourist area.

The staff were very nice and incredibly friendly, making us feel welcome from the start. The accommodation is perfectly located—just a short walk from the city’s main sights, coffee shops, and restaurants, so there’s no need for public transportation. Both the bed and the bathroom were spotlessly clean at first glance, which we appreciated.

One of the four nights, I found a cockroach walking under the bed. While looking for it, I noticed a significant amount of dust beneath the bed, which suggested it hadn’t been cleaned thoroughly. Additionally, during the last two nights of our stay, the shower gel in the dispenser was not refilled, even though we informed the reception both in person and via WhatsApp. Overall, the stay had some great aspects, but there’s definitely room for improvement in cleanliness and responsiveness to guest requests.

I couldn’t have chosen a better place. The location is perfect: right in the university district, so there’s always a great energy. During the day, students bring the area to life, and in the evening, the nearby restaurants and cafés fill up with people so there’s always a great spot to enjoy amazing food. It’s the perfect balance between vibrant and relaxed. The rooms are spacious, beautifully decorated, and thoughtfully designed. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Breakfast is served directly in the room, and each room has its own Nespresso machine, so you can start the day with a great coffee at your own pace. But the real highlight of my stay was the staff: kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. Mei, in particular, was absolutely wonderful. She made me feel at home from the very first moment, offering great tips and a warmth that’s hard to find.

The hot water didn’t work properly, we pressed the button and waited the 20 minutes but still had to shower with cold water, and when the water did get hot it got cold very fast Sometimes the door wouldn’t lock when we left the room

location is safe, they are kind; no carpet like UK :) silence they are helpful when you need something, e.g. I asked about the beach, and they listened to me what I like, how I can get here etc. they helped me to book a taxi because I was confused about some details. The taxi driver was also nice, as they mentioned.

I saw one of the comments about the bug, but thankfully, I didn't see anything like that :)

Very very clean and the property smells amazing from the diffusers they have throughout. The drain in the bathroom was the only thing that had a bit of a bad smell but nothing major. Staff are so friendly and helpful. Especially the cleaner! Recommended to us on the first night a restaurant nearby called Nice n’ Easy (I have added photos of our food tho this review) with the most amazing food and outdoor settings. Very easy to use Nespresso machine in room. Room is replenished daily with coffee pods, small biscuits, 4 bottles of water both sparkling and still. New towels each day and they make up your bed too! The sofa bed was quite comfy too. The bed is better! So many amazing bars, coffee shops and a few street food souvlaki spots very close in the surrounding streets in Solonos. TV in room with Netflix etc. The lift is handy too for the suitcases but it did fail a bit on the last day and the staff had to help me in the elevator.

Wonderful place to stay in Athens! Central location, on Solonos street, fully renovated. All was perfect...the size of the room, the furniture, the bed, the bathroom, all spotless clean! I stayed on the 2nd floor. The check in was fast as they have a reception area, the staff there were wonderful also. I requested early check in and I was able to enter the room right after cleaning, around noon! They have daily cleaning service, they even refill the water bottles, sparkling water and coffees in the room on a daily basis! The wifi was really good so I was able to work without interuption. The area is full of coffee places and restaurant. Close to Kolonaki area and Syntagma. All wonderful!! I highly recommend Airio Athens Suites!

Everything was wonderful!

Wonderful staff, went above and beyond to help with anything that was needed. Was incredibly responsive, polite and friendly. Customer service was like in a five star hotel.

The breakfast was not very good, I don’t believe that it should be offered by the place as it is overpriced for what it is. And it arrived cold both days sadly. I don’t think it’s the hotel’s fault - however something that could be improved if they want to keep it as an offering. Also, the room had a little bit of an odour, it aired out quickly with an open window but made the stay a little less enjoyable. But other than these two points honestly a great spot and good value for money. Recommend if you need a short stay in Athens :)
