First of all, I want to mention and praise Antonia, she went out of her way to make sure my stay was not just pleasant, but luxurious ;-) She generously upgraded my room to the king suite which was beautiful, especially the bathroom area. The tub was so lovely to soak in and the bed was very comfortable. She held my luggage after check out so I could explore the area. The breakfast choices (although a bit limited) are delicious and the garden area downstairs where you are served is small but charming. Cute restaurants right around the corner.

The hotel is in a safe town but very far if you want to walk to the main attractions, such as the Acropolis and Monastiraki. You need to be able to go up and down plenty of stairs to stay here - The breakfast attendant doesn’t speak English and didn’t get my order right. I had to use my translator. It can get quite hot to eat breakfast outside in the middle of summer. It feels more like a Bed & Breakfast and not a hotel. No extra amenities such as gym, pool, spa, etc…

There were a lot of stairs to the room, with no elevator. I had asked to stay at a low floor, and been told that we are stay at the 1st floor, which found out to be the upper floor The price was too high, to what we got The room was very noisy during the weekend, on Saturday morning a truck was making unbearable noise for hours, just below our window

Vaso was superb, she's been so kind and helpful. The location of the the hotel is great and near to the centre. The breakfast was delicious and fresh. Perfect perfect perfect! Thx guys.

From the moment I stepped into Maison (Bohemian Suites Athens), I felt immediately welcomed and cared for. However, what truly elevated my stay was the breakfast experience—an absolute highlight that deserves special mention. My morning began with a beautifully laid-out spread of fresh jams, locally sourced fruits, and made-to-order eggs, all served in a beautiful garden that felt more like a family kitchen than a hotel restaurant. Everything was fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and clearly made with care. The true gem of the morning, though, was the lovely lady who served the breakfast. Her warmth and hospitality were genuine and heartfelt. She greeted every guest with a smile, remembered our coffee orders, and made everyone feel like a cherished guest in her own home. Her kindness and attention to detail made breakfast not just a meal, but a moment of calm and joy that set the tone for the rest of the day. The rest of the staff mirrored this same spirit—discreet, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure guests feel at home. Whether it was a dinner recommendation, or simply a friendly chat, they were consistently gracious and professional. The Bohemian Suites Athens Maison Hotel is more than just a place to stay—it's an experience marked by warmth, comfort, and genuinely caring people. I would return in a heartbeat and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a stay that feels both luxurious and deeply personal.

Lovely room with a large and very comfortable bed. Breakfast, with a good range of options along with homemade preserves, can be ordered in advance and eaten in one's room or outside in the garden. The staff were very friendly and helpful. A short walk down to Syntagma Square.

The semi-basement room was lovely but we would have liked two comfortable chairs or a sofa to sit on rather than two hard chairs. Although the bathroom was beautiful with a large walk in shower and a bath, it was a bit of an echo chamber. There was no shaving mirror.

One of the most spacious rooms I’ve stayed in in Europe. Cleaned daily and changed towels when needed. Staff are extremely friendly, have good recommendations and always smiley. The breakfast is a good option although we skipped it a few days as there’s so many amazing bakeries in Athens. The room had all the amenities described. The hotel is in a pedestrian area and the shops there close at a reasonable time. Plenty of restaurants nearby and good nightlife within walking distance. It is at the top of a hill but you’ll have that anywhere in the centre - either climb up to go out or to return to your hotel.

Spacious rooms. Very good location if you like Kolonaki.

A lot of potential to make place really great. Zero communication from lady at breakfast which is pity since the garden is nice but could be organised and equipped much better. Be careful since no elevator and there are only narrow stairs so bringing luggage upstairs/downstairs was quite an exercise.

Vase was extremely nice, friendly, accommodating and very helpful. The breakfast was superb, the service was excellent. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable. We really felt a home feel to our stay.

One comment about one of the rooms we stayed in is that the paint was too dark - it effected our mood and we didn’t feel there was enough light in the room to compensate. We wish if they had one of the two. ( lighter paint or more lights )

The building and the rooms are very stylish, we really like them!

Breakfast and room facilities were a bit 'weak' for a hotel of this standard. For instance, we were given only two complimentary bottles of water; any extras would have been at a charge. Or the fruit salad at breakfast was tinned fruit. They are small details that are easy to fix but make a difference.

the staff were excellent, very helpful with maps and suggestions as to how best to spend our limited time in Athens. When asked for a suggestion for dinner, the place they recommended was excellent, and we would never have found it without their suggestion. The breakfast was amazing, a la carte, with numerous options, almost too many! They held our bags after checkout and made available a toilet/change room for us to change our clothes, before heading to the airport for our late night flight. Location was great, close to Metro, and a walk to the Acropolis, etc. Would highly recommend a stay. Mike
