Very clean and well kept property. Close to everything that we didn’t even need to use any means of transportation. Water runs hot, air conditioning works well. But the host, Anna Marie is what made the stay exceptional. We were running late to the airport, she helped us find an Uber (using her account) when our Uber stood us up. She even made sure to tell him we were running late and they he should hurry, texted to make sure we arrived in time and caught our plane. Thank you Anna Marie for a beautiful place and for making our stay exceptional.

We had a truly wonderful stay at CITYLUXE Suites & Rooms and cannot recommend it enough. The room was absolutely perfect—spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, and equipped with just the right amount of everything. We especially loved the lovely balcony, which was a great bonus! Anna Maria, our host, was amazing—so warm, kind, and incredibly helpful. From the moment we arrived, she made everything easy, offering great tips and recommendations for attractions and local restaurants. Check-in was smooth, and her hospitality truly made us feel welcome and at home. The location is fantastic—just a 5-minute walk from Panepistimio station, in a very safe and central neighborhood. We were able to reach all the main attractions of Athens, like Syntagma Square and the famous Ermou shopping street, within a 10-minute walk. It was also very safe to walk around at night, which allowed us to enjoy the beauty of Athens after dark and return without any worries. Overall, this was one of the best apartment stays we've had in any major European city. We’ll definitely be coming back to CITYLUXE the next time we visit Athens. After 8 hours of travel, arrived at 20:00 & were “greeted’ w/ questions about why we were there & we should’ve gotten a what’s app message. Person said reception wasn’t there-but she was the manager. After proving reservation, we were asked to wait a minute. Person then mopped the elevator & small entry. We were told to get in the (wet) elevator & the smell was AWFUL. We were worried. The room was clean, comfortable, & happily didn’t smell like the elevator. The hotel was ok for the night before leaving, but would not stay again

Before booking, I did thorough research to find a safe and quiet place to stay, as I had heard some negative comments about safety in Athens. So safety was the main criteria for us. And these apartments fully met our expectations. The area where the apartment is located felt very peaceful and secure throughout our stay. The room was clean, had a nice modern renovation, and included all the essentials. The staff was friendly and helpful. Although breakfast wasn’t offered, the option to order food directly to the room was a big plus. Food was good, btw. One small improvement would be to add a little table and chairs on the balcony – it would make the space even more enjoyable.

On the downside, the toilet space is extremely small – about 1 m² – which could be uncomfortable, especially for larger guests. Also, the semi-transparent doors to the bathroom and toilet offered limited privacy.

Anamaria is the best host ever! She was so welcoming and had lots of helpful suggestions. The location is amazing for dining. Whatever you want you'll find it near by. The room was a good size and had an electric jug! The housekeeping service was amazing. We always came back to a lovely clean and inviting room. Having a door code meant we didn't have to joined at the hip but could do things seperately - something places with a single key or card make very difficult. The hotel is down a little side street so no street noise There is a small store just around the corner so you could get whatever you needed easily. If you need any extra exercise Lycabettus Hill is very close and you get the best view of Athens from the top.

There was nothing to not like. The toilet was positioned a bit awkwardly in relation to the shower but not in such a way as to make use of either difficult.

Anna Maria is a fantastic host and the rooms are new, clean and with very warm contemporary design! Highly recommended for a stay in Athens!

Great location, good sized room (with very good A/C!), nice bathroom amenities, cozy bed/bedding. Friendly receptionist at the front desk. Liked the location a lot better than say compared to Plaka. Quite quiet, but still plenty of restaurants and bars within walking distance, and some cute boutique shopping.

Didn't like the feeling of being forced to "check in in advance online" made to seem like if we didn't, that we wouldn't be able to access the property. Not sure if that was true or what would have happened had we arrived late.
