I had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Athens! The location is absolutely perfect—right in the heart of the city, close to shopping areas and charming old restaurants. It was even possible to walk to the Acropolis and its museum, which made exploring the city so easy and enjoyable. I truly appreciate the hotel staff for their hospitality. They kindly provided my room earlier than expected, which was a great help. The room itself was spotless and well-maintained, making my stay even more comfortable. A special thanks to Giota, Vasia, and Marietta for their kindness and professionalism—they made my experience even better! I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Athens.

The hotel is located at perfect location, in a walking only area, just a few steps from Syntagma square. We have booked the Family room and is super spacious. The cleaning crew has done the amazing job each morning and have made refills of 2 still water bottles, 2 cokes and 2 orange juices free of charge. The staf is super nice and supportive. We have got a wine on the house while having a dinner at the lobby. Pizza and steak at the hotel restaurant is great.

The food selection for breakfast could be better. One type of sliced ham, one type of sliced cheese. The food rotations is very slow which means once we came for the breakfast around 8am the eggs were missing and the croissants were missing. When we have asked for the refill we have waited for 30 min to get it. One morning when we have asked for the egg refill the waiter has brought 5 eggs and it was 5 of us. So 1 eg per family member. The hotel was not crowded at all as it was December. This would be the only thing to improve for our stay. Everything else was perfect ☺️

Nice location, friendly staff, cosy boutique like hotel, great value for money

At one night we were hearing some noises through the a/c from the plumbing system of rooms on floors above the room (presumably due to the uae of toilets) we were staying that was a bit annoying as it occurred at late night- early morning hours. Also there was no door between the room and the bathroom a.nd light could get in from early morning hours

We had a great week at Hotel Lozenge. The location is fantastic, just a couple of minutes from Syntagma Square but on a quiet pedestrian street of high-end stores, coffee shops/ bars and restaurants. It really is perfectly located. The hotel is really comfortable and quiet, with good sized rooms and clean bathrooms. The staff are all lovely, professional but friendly and approachable. They made us feel really welcome and we looked forward to seeing them every day. The staff really made our stay. We couldn’t fault the Lozenge. We had a fantastic stay.

Location is terrific. So close to Syntagma and Kolonaki and walking distance to Omonia and Monestiraki. So many great shops and restaurants around. Our room was ın the small side as most of the rooms in this areas are. However it was very functional and all the amenities were available. Breakfast is buffet style. A nice selection of food is available for a hotel this size, but it might get boring if staying for longer. The staff is amazing. We were very impressed by how they managed to balance the needs and security of the hotel guests with people walking in from the protests for a bathroom break or bottle of water.

When we got to our floor for the first time seeing the stained carpet on the hallway was a bit of a disappointment. However, the room itself was not in any way dirty or dingy. The mattress was the softest one we have ever slept on. For anyone with a back problem it might pose an issue.

Very nice staff who made a late check out possible. The breakfast is very good.

The bed was uncomfortable and the pillows to big.

Location is very convenient; even if it is in a busy area, with night activity, the soundproofing is quite efficient. Amenities are great, room is very clean and they will provide you with anything you need. Everyone was incredibly kind and attentive, I cannot praise the personnel enough. Breakfast is good, fresh produce and fruits. But people above all - they are exceptional humans and left an unforgettable mark on us.

No complaints, rather suggestions. Perhaps the breakfast could have more options. Both the room and the bathroom are rather dimly lit - maybe for the bathroom some stronger lighting would help.

The location is fantastic. It is situated within a posher shopping district of the city, with high end label shops around. Despite this the atmosphere was very relaxed and friendly. The hotel is used as a cafe/ restaurant with locals stopping for a coffee and a bite to eat, so there is always a bit of a relaxed buzz, which is actually really nice, as you can spend some time sitting there and just feel part of the community. The street of the hotel has cafe's as well as an Italian restaurant that opens until late. The room itself was very spacious, clean, modern and well functioning bathroom, and our room had a balcony which was fantastic to have. Room had an espresso machine as well as a small kettle. a 20-30 mins walk from the hotel takes you right up to the Acropolis, adjacent to this you have Plaka with cute little roads and shops for souvenirs etc, this area has a lot of food/ drink options too but some seemed like the usual tourist rip offs, but for the atmosphere and a coffee it is worth sitting there, from the hotel a 15 mins walk to Monastiraki which is a more traditional shopping area with your usual high street labels, if you walk along it has a flea market as well. From the hotel you are walking distance to Lycabettus Hill, it is a high incline and can be difficult if unfit, there is a cable car that can be taken. Hotel location was quiet, so no disturbance from noise. Buffet style breakfast was included in our booking, which for us was more than sufficient with the offer available, all staff wherever friendly and welcoming. We would certainly stay in this hotel again if we were to visit Athens again.

Nothing really, it ticked the boxes for us.

Hotel Lozenge was great. I stayed twice this time. My first stay I arrived late in the evening and the reception staff were super helpful in recommending a place for dinner. They also provided me with a map and drew lines to help me find my way. The receptionist also inquired (not being nosey, simply asking) where I was going next. They then helped me with local advice on metro which was very useful. My best Aperol was at this hotel, and it was also cheaper than anything on the islands. I had to leave before breakfast so they provided me with a picnic breakfast which was really helpful. My second stay was also great. My room was on the 1st floor and was even nicer than the first stay. It was super comfortable, lovely bedding, great bathroom and generally extremely well equipped. The toiletries were great and super luxurios. The breakfast, which I could enjoy the second time, was terrific. Loads of choice and something from everyone, and super friendly service. It was a great breakfast. When I enquired about checking out, I was offered a late checkout. I offered to pay extra, but was turned down. This is AMAZING service. Having made the decision to clamber up the Acropolis in August, the opportunity to shower and change before heading to the airport was an absolute game changer. The success of any hotel may be location, may include cleanliness and value, but this hotel already has this. But what Lozenge delivers in spades is service, and that's about people. I went to a very expensive roof bar on the last night and they provided great service, but honestly I'd rebook Lozenge in a heartbeat. Its a great place to stay and the staff are all brilliant!!

Our stay at this hotel was brilliant from start to finish. The air-conditioned rooms were comfortable and provided a perfect retreat from the summer heat. The reception staff were excellent—friendly, efficient, and went out of their way to assist us, including helping with printing and securely storing our bags after checkout so we could enjoy more sightseeing. A special mention goes to the blue-eyed waiter, who was incredibly kind and attentive, always making sure we were topped up with water and well looked after. The hotel is located in an upmarket area of Athens, surrounded by great shops and a pleasant atmosphere. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel and would gladly stay again.
