I recently stayed at the NYX Esperia Palace Hotel in Athens during a combined work and leisure trip, and my experience was truly beyond all expectations. The hotel’s location is exceptional - just a short walk from the vibrant Plaka neighborhood and the Acropolis, with many outstanding restaurants and cafés nearby. This made it perfect both for exploring the city and for enjoying authentic local dining experiences. The hotel’s facilities were equally impressive. I especially enjoyed the wellness area, which included relaxing saunas, a jacuzzi, and a rooftop pool with a wonderful view. These amenities offered a perfect balance between productivity and relaxation throughout my stay. The staff were consistently warm, professional, and helpful. They provided excellent recommendations for places to eat and visit, which enriched my time in Athens and made the experience even more memorable. Overall, my stay at NYX Esperia Palace Hotel was outstanding in every aspect—location, comfort, amenities, and service. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting Athens for business, leisure, or a blend of both.

Breakfast was fantastic

I didn't like the fact that we had to pay money to sit by the pool on the beds and in the shade, as well as prebook, though there were a few available seats that did not require payment. This was never advertised on the website.

Excellent location in the heart of Athens, super clean room very high-tech with nice balcony, breakfast was delicious with a view of the acropolis, staff welcoming and friendly we felt home.sadly the weather deprived us from using the pool.

Sound proofing should be improved from inside corridor side and external façade as we can hear everything happening inside out.

The music at pool is way too loud. Even our teenage kids had to leave the pool because it was over the top. They should provide more quiet / relaxing hours and leave the pumping music for late afternoon.

The staff at the hotel are very friendly and nice

The cleaning team don’t clean the bathroom room well, they didn’t clean our shower during our stay and forgot to put the conditioner or other things The room is too small for 3 people, and the additional bed was tooo small

The breakfast menu was a delightful surprise, offering diverse options to suit every palate. The quality and variety were impressive, from fresh fruits to hearty breakfast classics. It was a perfect start to each day of my stay. The hotel's bar also deserves commendation. The ambience was inviting, and the bartenders were skilled and friendly, creating a relaxed atmosphere. The drink selection was extensive, and their signature cocktails were a highlight of my evenings with a roof top view of the Acropolis,

I can confidently say that my stay at NYX Esperia Palace Hotel Athens left me without a single complaint.

Great rooftop facilities and view of Athens/sunset. Rooms were great and super comfy beds/pillows. Clean tidy, great ammenities, staff super helpful and friendly. Easy check in.

The 9th floor on the weekends was noisy due to being close to the rooftop and having a dj and bar. The music didn’t stop until after 1am. Not sure if this is like this during week days too.

To me a spa is where you relax, when we went 3/4 times it was full of children splashing around and very noisy. I think there should be a set time for children or the spa should be classed a swimming pool. The jacuzzi could do with being hotter and the jets don’t work properly.

Overall Stay: We had an amazing stay at this hotel, it’s absolutely beautiful and just as luxurious as it looks in the photos. The style is very modern, with lots of smart features and a comfortable, stylish atmosphere. Facilities: The rooms have plenty of modern touches, including buttons on the wall to adjust lighting and open or close the curtains, plus a TV with Netflix and YouTube. Our room had a lovely walk-in shower and a touch-button panel outside to request housekeeping, which was really convenient. The gym is small but well-equipped and free to use. The spa was fantastic — I booked a massage from a wide range of options, and the therapist tailored the treatment exactly to my preferences in terms of pressure and style. Our room also had a fridge, which was a lifesaver in the heat for keeping water cold to take out during the day. Breakfast: Breakfast was 10/10. The buffet offered plenty of Greek options like cheese pies and orange pie, alongside other choices. Every morning we enjoyed breakfast with a beautiful view of the Acropolis from both inside and outside the restaurant. Staff: The staff were incredibly polite, friendly, and easy to communicate with. They were always happy to help and made our stay even more enjoyable. Location: The location was perfect, around a 15–25 minute walk to all the main attractions like the Acropolis, Monastiraki, and the Plaka district. There were also plenty of restaurants and dessert places nearby, and we were able to walk everywhere.

The hotel restaurant, while nice, was on the expensive side. In addition, some pool lounger reservations required a minimum spend of €25 to €30 (food or drinks) for certain time slots.

My family and I stayed at the NYX Esperia Palace Hotel in Athens and we loved every minute of it!! The property is modern, stylish and very clean. The rooms are also very clean, well laid out and beautifully decorated with everything on hand that you could possibly wish for. Service from all staff is impeccable, friendly, helpful and attentive. Sights, shopping and restaurants are all within walking distance. Beautiful restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating overlooking the Acropolis and a large breakfast buffet with lots of choices plus you can get ready to make orders. Outdoor pool on the 10th floor is super relaxing with great food and drinks. The hotel and staff made us feel pampered and added to our vacation joy: thanks so much!
