The room was OK with mostly everything that you need. A balcony with a beautiful view of Acropolis was stunning!

Breakfast. There was no choice for people with dietary restrictions. I could only eat the eggs. The staff could not help me, I don't think they even had any idea about allergens.

We would have been thrilled about this had it not been the horrible smell coming out of the bathroom. Also the room was next to the elevator therefore the room had a lot of unwanted noise...

We stayed at this hotel as a group of five friends, and the experience was simply perfect! The location of the hotel was ideal, close to all the main attractions and the best restaurants. The beds were especially comfortable, ensuring us good nights of sleep after full days of activities. The service was excellent, and the staff was friendly and welcoming. I am very sensitive to noise, and in the middle of the night, I called the reception because it was noisy from the street. The staff changed our room in the middle of the night without any problem, and I am very grateful for that. Additionally, I want to highly commend Lefteris, the receptionist, who helped me a lot by fixing a portable luggage scale and saved us from paying overweight fees at the airport after all the shopping. Thank you so much!

We loved the breakfast each morning. The coffees were delicious and there was a very nice buffet. Overlooking the acropolis was of course amazing! We loved going up to the roof before dinner and having a drink and watching the sun set. We love that each room we rented had a view of the acropolis. The lobby is also very nice. There is a bar on one side that opens to the street, and there is also a sitting area that was so convenient to met up with our newly-discovered relatives.

The rooftop doesn't actually have a bar, the drinks get ordered from the lobby bar, so when we arrived at 11:45pm for a nightcap on the roof, they sent us downstairs.

The Astor hotel is centrally located in the heart of Athens, walkable from most locations. The hotel is very clean and presentable. The breakfast options were excellent and then view from the top floor restaurant area is excellent. The staff was very courteous and helpful with luggage and concierge services We felt safe walking out late at nights in the neighborhood.

We paid for an Acropolis view room but got an obstructed view from the balcony. The Acropolis was visible only from the far-right corner of the balcony because the rest of the view was blocked by the building across the road. We were in room 702. Any room from 703-710 would've been better. The sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable and did not close properly. Opening the sofa bed left very little room for moving around or even opening out suitcases. Space was limited once the sofa bed was opened. Housekeeping did not close it so the room felt very small.

View was amazing as we could see the acropolis from the room. The roof top bar was also amazing. It is a pity the weather wasn't better as we would have spent more time on the terrace admiring the view. The beds were really comfortable and the towels were lovely and fluffy. Location was great - right near bars, restaurants and shops. The staff were really helpful and friendly.

The cups for having a hot drink out of were cardboard which was fine but they were not replaced everyday and due to the cardboard nature, you couldn't re-use them. So, whilst there is a coffee machine and a kettle, there was nothing with which to drink any drinks from. Only had one free bottle of water in the fridge on the first day and the coffee sachets were not topped up each day. We couldn't check in until 3.30pm which seemed quite late.

Hotel is renovated, clean, location is perfect and comfortable, near all shops and all nessesary locations. Staff very friendly and helpfull.

I can not say I didnt like, but is like small sugestion - about breakfest. I think 22 eur to pay extra per person is little to much. Its not very comfortable for couple (like us) because me I dont eat breakfests, my husband do. So to go alone in the morning enjoy breakfest my husband didnt want, me to pay 22 eur to drink only coffee and maximum take one toast I see is a lot. So I see the price will be good like 10 - 12 eur per person, so couple can enjoy together and if one of them drink only coffee is ok to give 10 - 12 eur. Or put price up per night and put breakfest included. Honestly hotel like ASTOR I thing breakfest must be included, when you charge extra is sound little cheap!

Property is newly renovated, clean, and the lobby is just beautiful. Their breakfast is to die for! Not only is their breakfast delicious, but you have a rooftop view of the Acropolis from the 7th floor! The staff is always polite and helpful. Vana the manager was just great!

The rooms were kinda small, even for a single. There was also no gym which was unfortunate because I wanted to workout during my trip. The trash cans in the room are too small which means they fill up very fast.
