Loved the location (brisk 15 min walk to Acropolis)& boutique hotel feel Bed/bath linens are of a 5-Star hotel quality Icing on the cake is the exceptional breakfast with a selection of breads , main course, coffee, fresh sqeezed juice- which kept us going till dinner time. Definitely recommend this diamond in the rough.

Have stated multiple times at this hotel. Recently renovated. The location is perfect!! Very central and just a minutes walk to Ermou and the shops. Syntagma square, 2 mins. Plaka and Monastiraki 10 mins walk. Beds very comfortable and this is the first time I’ve stayed in a hotel(and I’ve stayed in many!) where they have decent firm pillows which make a huge difference to a good nights sleep! Delicious room service breakfast. Well done! Wouldn’t hesitate to book again!

It was lovely having the option for breakfast via room service or in the dining room. Breakfast also had a varied choice and was delicious. The room and bathroom had everything you would need. Also the room was kept clean throughout my stay. I would definitely stay again.

I didn't know how to contact the reception on the telephone. It would have been good to have a list of numbers or information within the room. There was nothing else I didn't like.

This is a wonderful hotel offering comfortable accommodation in a prime location in Athens. We were looking for a hotel that didn't rely on offering Acropolis views, as we believe they offer better value for money; The Marblous didn't disappoint. Our room was clean, modern, and the right side of luxurious (without being pretentious), and also benefited from a spacious balcony. We enjoyed breakfast on our balcony every morning and found the options and quality to be excellent. All staff were super friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout our stay, too, so we will return.

Absolutely nothing – don't hesitate if you're looking for a contemporary Athenian hotel that warrants its four-star rating.

We stayed in our quiet corner room #404 on the 4th floor for three nights before our cruise from Piraeus. It was larger than expected and had a shared balcony with four chairs. The room was very clean and the bed was fine. The elevator was small, but could accommodate two adults with some luggage and we never had to wait very long. The staff members were very helpful getting our large bags up and down. The breakfasts were outstanding as you could choose two delicious items each from a list of about 20 and give it to them the night before. You could have your breakfast delivered to your room or have it in their bistro area on the ground floor. The location was perfect for us as it was near all of the major sights around the Acropolis, so we could walk to all of them. We bought the Combo Ticket for 30 Euro and also went to the amazing Benaki Museum which had a senior rate of 9 Euro (even for people not from the EU). To get to the hotel, we took the X95 bus outside Gate 5 from the ATH airport to Sygmata Square for 5 Euro and rolled our luggage a few blocks to the hotel. It was a little tricky over the uneven pavement and crowded sidewalks, but we managed. After our stay, we decided to skip the bus to the pier and they called a taxi for us for 30 Euro which got us there in about 20 minutes. We were very happy with everything at the Marblous Athens Hotel and would highly recommend it.

The Marblous is my go-to hotel in Athens and hasn't disappointed yet. We were upgraded to a bigger room with a sitting area and it was fantastic: good size, comfortable bed and a nice bathroom. There were two TV's and two AC units in our room so it was cool despite the summer heat. Breakfast choices had been updated and it was excellent, big enough that we couldn't finish everything. The hotel is located a 5-min walk from pretty much everything in the city centre and you can easily reach it with public transport from airport/port. Staff were lovely and really helpful, as always.

We go to Athens every 2-3 months. We have stayed in many hotels and airbnbs in the center, so we know the city well. And Marblous Athens is by far the top hotel among them. A great hotel, with great staff, cleanliness and excellent breakfast. Breakfast is served a la carte and is truly one of the best I have ever eaten! They even prepared a packed breakfast for us because we checked out at 6 in the morning when our flight was! The service quality deserves full marks. Also the location of the hotel is very very good

Nothing for us! My only warning is to those who are sensitive to sound: the hotel overlooks Mitropoleus Street, which is a busy, vivid and noisy street. There is a possibility of sound, but it is not something that bothers us. In short, do not expect the peace of the countryside by staying in the middle of the city.

Noise due to loud guests - the hotel had complaints but did nothing about it. Shared balconies - we were sharing the same balcony with another room - they were sitting outside our window, talking on the phone and enjoying the balcony, making it weird for us to even open the window - lack of privacy. We informed the reception as soon as we went in the room that we thought it would be awkward and even offered to switch rooms with another couple who was travelling with us so that we could share the balcony with them but they refused due to the category/rate of the other room - fair enough but we should have been warned

There was a bit of cold air coming in, and I could hear some noise from outside

Breakfast options were great. The location is very central, couple of blocks from Syntagma, 5 min walk to Monastiraki Square and very convenient to seeing the Acropolis. Major subway stations are very close. Great places to eat and shop, just outside the hotel depending on choice. The staff were excellent and very helpful and booked my transfers to/from the cruise terminal.

It's typical that European hotels usually have smaller sized rooms than US hotels so expect a smaller room, however the renovated rooms are comfortable and clean, and the central location is great.
